The Medicine Hat Civilian Space Agency is hereby founded by Joseph E. Walsh as a private and independent civilian entity intended for the benefit of all residents of the Medicine Hat area. MHCSA has been formed in response to an understanding and acceptance that;
• Civilian based space programs are necessary and logical
• Independent civilian exploration and colonization of space is a right affo
rded Canadian citizens according to part 6, article 1 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms
• Public support in favor of space exploration exists within our municipality
• Expertise and materials required for successful space flights exist within Medicine Hat
• The financial cost of space exploration is negligible
Our purpose is to administer and facilitate exchanges of information, materials and expertise which are intended to increase public knowledge of, and participation in Earth-to-Space endeavors. Our goal is to effectively and accurately; inform, educate, assist and encourage all civilians on a continuous basis to competently plan, prepare and execute peaceful scientific and colonial activities outside of Earth’s atmosphere. Our promise is to function in a manner which is appropriate to the expectations of our members and contributors, and which is inclusive of the rights of all residents of the Medicine Hat area.
