Today, Daniel graduated from the Calgary Fire Department academy. To say I am a proud dad just doesn’t say how I feel for Daniel finding his passion and the determination in getting there. The journey is just beginning, it’s a great ride and as they say, find something you love to do and you will never have to work a day in your life. Stay safe and enjoy every minute!

Nice surprise in the mail this morning! I joined the IFE in 1983 as a new firefighter, 40 years on still going and volunteering with the IFE. Learnt a lot from the IFE, it’s network and invaluable continuous learning opportunities. Highly recommend to anyone involved in fire engineering. Thank you IFE.

Today was a day for surprises! This arrived in the post today, Platinum Jubilee award through the Canada Branch of the IFE. Honoured to receive this and especially so considering the sad loss of Queen Elizabeth II. Such a great lady and gave her life to service, thank you!

So much deserved Melanie has worked tirelessly in her field and research that she is passionate about for the Métis community. A true leader in her own right and recognized for her contribution and passion for what she does, well deserved my love, so proud of you Dr Brice.
