The sunshade installation at CleanTech is almost complete. They’re an architectural feature with a practical job: helping reduce direct sunlight and glare through the glass, while still allowing plenty of natural light into the building. By stopping some of that solar heat before it reaches the glazing, exterior sunshades can also help improve indoor comfort.
And then there’s the form part — adding depth, shadow and another layer of detail to the building’s exterior. A good example of design and function working together.
