Sometimes we keep blaming the situation because it is easier than admitting we have been repeating the same pattern.
Same reaction.
Same excuse.
Same decision.
Same result.
And then we wonder why nothing changes.
This is not about being hard on yourself. It is about being honest enough to notice when something has become a habit.
Maybe you keep putting things off until they become urgent.
Maybe you keep saying yes when you really mean no.
Maybe you keep spending money you already know you should not spend.
Maybe you keep going back to people, places, or situations that leave you feeling the exact same way every time.
At some point, you have to stop asking, “Why does this keep happening to me?”
And start asking, “What am I doing repeatedly that keeps bringing me back here?”
That question can be uncomfortable.
But it can also be the beginning of changing something for real.
You do not need to fix your whole life overnight.
Just stop feeding the habit that keeps creating the same problem.
