When “getting out of your comfort zone” means changing your hair colour…
Been a redhead for a second, might have to go back to jet black.
My makeup and hair are part of my personal branding too, and I like consistency.
Sade, with her ponytail and red lipstick, is a great example of how to incorporate your physical appearance to your .
In my case, my wardrobe is 80% black, I’m known for it. A little change of hair won’t hurt lol 😉.

✨ Did you know that the human attention span is estimated at about 5-9 seconds? In other words we don’t have much time to create an impression to a potential client who’s visiting our page. I love helping business women level up their looks either through makeup or branding. Here is a sample of what we do during my program, on top of finding new ways to get to the bag 💰(we actually go deeper than colours and fonts but that’s a story for another post 😉).

✨ In 2021, I’ve decided to do things differently. I will always be a makeup artist but I’m working with limited clients. I specialize in clean/glam makeup and most of my clients are professionals who like their makeup to be clean and glamorous at the same time. They usually have a signature makeup style (like the makeup look for this picture) and I promise you that I can do their faces with my eyes closed 😂
Most of my clients have personal brands meaning that they are the face of their business and in my program I also help them create a “signature makeup look” that they will be able to reproduce at their convenience.

At this point I’m pretty sure that you have already seen numerous posts on FB and IG telling you to build a website and email list.

Maybe this was a blessing in disguise after all… A lot of us took it as an opportunity to either rest, brainstorm or spend time with our loved ones.

Doubting ourselves is something that we won’t be doing in 2021 🥂

It is so disheartening to hear women things like “I would like to do/create/launch x,y,z.. but you know it’s just a random thought/dumb idea”. Everything we want is on the other side of the fear of being judged and fear of failure.

Investing in our mindset is something that we rarely think about but the transformation you go through when you work with a good mentor is life changing. !

Happy Monday!
Yesterday I signed the most unexpected client ever... My sister!
Funny because I’ve been talking to a couple of women lately and they were telling me that their family wasn’t supportive, to which I replied that they should start the business anyway 🤷🏾‍♀️
In my case, my sister has always been supportive but it doesn’t mean that she was going to use my services... I mean, I’m still her lil Sis 😂. But no pressure, Because I know my value.
Anyway, I’m glad she did because she had a skillset and passion for so long but didn’t know how to use it. She appreciates the finer things, always loved pretty aesthetics and she has extensive experience with luxury goods.

Now working together doesn’t mean we will play around, my work ethic stays the same.
Plus my “creative brain” work so fast, you better catch me when I have the juice 👩🏾‍💻

In 3 hours of working together we were able to:
👉🏾 Come up with a brand name
👉🏾 Create an offer for her clients
👉🏾 Choose her fonts and colours
👉🏾 Create her moodboard
👉🏾 Set up her social media pages
And sooo much more...

I’m excited for her and can’t wait to see her business grow!
