Hi everyone 💛
I wanted to share a little life update with you all. Recently, I was promoted at work (very grateful 🙏🏽), which also means a lot more responsibilities and less free time. On top of that, I’ve been making my health a major priority lately as I work on managing my lipedema and reducing inflammation naturally.
Because of this, I’ll be slowing things down for a while and will only be accepting orders for macarons and gluten-free desserts for the time being.
This season has pushed me to really focus on nourishing my body, listening to it, and creating meals that help with swelling, pain, inflammation, and brain fog — and honestly, I’m already noticing a difference.
Because I genuinely love food and creativity in the kitchen, I’ve been having fun creating and marrying ingredients together to make nutrient-dense, beautiful, and delicious meals that still feel comforting and satisfying 💚
I’ll also start sharing some of the anti-inflammatory meals and recipes I’ve been making in case they can inspire or help someone else too.
Yesterday’s plate: Swiss chard sautéed in olive oil & onions, white beans, fresh lemon juice + minced garlic added at the end, with turmeric quinoa and black pepper.
Today’s bowl: roasted sweet potatoes, egg for protein, roquette/arugula, half an avocado, sunflower seeds, tomatoes, quinoa, fresh lime juice, turmeric, salt & black pepper.
Small changes, but my brain fog is already improving and I’m taking that as a win ✨
