In this dynamic workshop earth note scents will be presented in-person at Cabinet de Curiosite and includes a provided array of natural scents for each participant. Attendants will be guided through a foundation of techniques and practices, gaining knowledge from perfumery’s ancient past to the olfactory present, with a unique hands-on experience of creating a personal fragrance.
Learn from perfumer and ritual-scent practitioner Daniela Madrid. Olfactory Presence will allow participants from all backgrounds to develop an introductory understanding of scent philosophy, ranging from perfumery notes, and methods for creating deeply layered and nuanced fragrances. Madrid's background within the art of perfumery stems from multiple apprenticeships from established perfumers and knowledge from Harvard astrological history.
In this summer’s bliss, the alchemy of knowledge and seduction of scent will be presented in this upcoming session. It’s a time to embrace your awakened senses and desires to experiment and learn. Just like when we plant a seed to grow, the intention will be the theme to center the mind around and to achieve for the remainder of the year. Discovering the scent world through physically custom blending to your own making.
