🚨 RBC CONSULTANTS PUBLICATION SPOTLIGHT™! 🚨
Environmental factors may play an important role in the development and severity of atopic dermatitis in young children.

A new publication in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology (JDD), “SAIGE III: The Role of Environmental Factors in the Development and Severity of Atopic Dermatitis in Young Children,” examines how environmental exposures can affect the skin barrier and contribute to inflammation, pruritus, and the severity of pediatric AD.

The expert consensus highlights the importance of recognizing modifiable environmental factors, supporting the skin barrier early, and educating clinicians on practical strategies that may help reduce disease severity and flare development in young children.

🚨 RBC CONSULTANTS PUBLICATION SPOTLIGHT™! 🚨
Atopic dermatitis is more than inflammation—and effective management requires looking at the full picture.

A new publication in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology (JDD), “The Essential Role of Topical Targeted Therapy in Atopic Dermatitis,” explores the continued importance of topical therapies in AD and the need for approaches that address multiple aspects of the disease, including inflammation, itch, barrier dysfunction, xerosis, and microbiome imbalance.

Congratulations to authors Dr. Peter Lio, Dr. Latanya Benjamin, Dr. Mercedes Gonzalez, Dr. Sophie Guénin, Dr. Adelaide Hebert, Dr. Pearl Kwong, Dr. Nanette Silverberg, and Dr. Lawrence Schachner on this important contribution to the evolving conversation around comprehensive AD care.

Day Two at Fall Clinical 2026 in Las Vegas, and what a wonderful day! ❤️
There’s nothing better than reconnecting with dear friends, esteemed colleagues, and familiar faces from across the dermatology community.

Today was filled with great conversations and memorable moments with Dr. Nader Aboul-Fettouh from Dallas, Dr. Andy Blauvelt from Baltimore, Dr. Derek Ho from Los Angeles, and one of our favorite women in dermatology publishing, Luz Figueroa!

It was also wonderful catching up with Dr. Abrar A. Qureshi, Director of the upcoming NIRDS Conference taking place November 13–15 in Orlando (register at NIRDS.org/conference), Dr. Shawn Kwatra from Maryland, Dr. Daniel C. Butler, Dr. Graham H. Litchman, from Las Vegas, Dr. Amy Spizuoco from New York City, Dr. James Q. Del Rosso, from Las Vegas, and Dr. Mark D. Kaufmann from New York City.

The who’s who of dermatology is here, and there’s nothing better than reconnecting with some of the brightest minds, longtime friends, and colleagues from across North America.

It’s been wonderful catching up with Dr. Firas George Hougeir from Atlanta, Dr. Eingun James Song, from Washington State, Dr. Lisa Swanson from Boise, Dr. Shawn Kwatra from Baltimore, and our friends Vimal and Ashlie from Pavella.
