Your LinkedIn profile can be improved in one focused AI pass.

Most profiles do not fail because people lack experience.
They fail because the experience is hard to understand.
The headline is vague.
The About section is generic.
The Experience bullets list tasks,
not outcomes.
That is exactly the kind of cleanup AI can help with.
Not by inventing a personal brand.
Not by pretending you did work you did not do.
By forcing clarity around the work that is already there.
Start by downloading your LinkedIn profile as a PDF.
Open your profile on desktop.
Click More.
Choose Save to PDF.
That gives Claude a clean snapshot to audit.
Then open Claude.ai.
Use Sonnet.
Turn on Extended Thinking.
Upload the PDF and ask for a structured audit:
what stops people from hiring, following, or buying?
Where are the gaps in Headline, About, Experience, and Skills?
What clarifying questions should be answered first?
The key is not asking for a rewrite immediately.
The key is making Claude diagnose before it edits.
That sequence matters.
If the model does not understand your goal,
it will polish the wrong message.
Once the questions are answered,
ask for specific improvements.
Use the XYZ formula for Experience:
I accomplished X by doing Y, resulting in Z.
Keep each role tight.
Use three bullets max.
Add relevant keywords without turning the profile into keyword soup.
Then review the output like an editor.
If the About section is too long, cut it.
If a bullet feels exaggerated, make it more accurate.
If the tone feels wrong, ask for a sharper version.
One focused follow-up can fix most of the awkwardness.
The final step is simple:
copy the improved sections back into LinkedIn.
Headline.
About.
Experience.
Skills.
This is not a full rebrand.
It is friction removal.
The bigger lesson applies beyond LinkedIn.
AI works best when you give it a real artifact,
a clear standard,
and a specific editing task.
Do not ask AI to make you sound impressive.
Ask it to make your proof easier to understand.
What part of your profile is still making people work too hard?
