Speakers, TVs, doorbells, washer, dryers, refrigerators and more, these are the "smart" household items that can be found in most homes now. This revolution, which is supposed to simplify our lives, raises many privacy concerns since many of these objects collect data in addition to being almost all equipped with a camera or microphone.
So should we really worry? Radio-Canada talks about it in this interview with Sébastien Gambs, holder of the Canada Research Chair in privacy-sensitive analysis and ethics of big data, and professor in the Department of Computer Science at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal.
