PFN Group of Companies Inc. is seeking a Finance Controller to join the team in Regina, SK.

This senior leadership role will oversee financial operations across PFN Group of Companies and its subsidiaries, including Pro Metal Industries and Paskwa Farms. The position plays a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, cash management, and strategic planning.

PFN Group of Companies is looking for a dynamic and analytical leader with strong financial expertise and a passion for supporting Indigenous economic development and long-term Nation building.

Qualifications include:
✔️ 7+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
✔️ CPA designation preferred
✔️ Management and leadership experience
✔️ Strong financial reporting and forecasting skills
✔️ ERP and accounting systems experience
✔️ Manufacturing experience considered an asset

The red dress is a powerful symbol, representing the voices that were silenced and the loved ones who are still searching for answers. It is also a reminder that this crisis is ongoing and that we all have a role to play in ending violence in our communities.

Pasqua First Nation is looking for a dedicated and experienced Farm Foreman to join the Paskwa Farms team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing, Nation-owned agricultural operation focused on building long-term sustainability and economic success.

Paskwa Farms is leading the way in developing agriculture on Nation lands, with a vision to expand farming operations and create opportunities for future generations.

The Farm Foreman will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day farm operations, supporting crop production, maintaining equipment, and helping guide seasonal work on the land.

We specialize in plasma, laser and waterjet cutting, welding, CNC machining and powder coating.

This leadership role oversees the estimating team and delivers accurate and competitive cost estimates for fabrication, machining and assembly projects.

Qualifications
• 7+ years estimating experience
• Leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes
• ERP/MRP and technical drawing experience

We reflect on the courage of those who served, the lives lost and the lasting impact felt by the families and communities they left behind.

We also extend our gratitude to the thousands of Indigenous members who continue to serve in Canada’s military forces today, defending our shared values and freedom.

Harvest season is a time of hard work, reflection and pride for our team at Paskwa Farms, a 100% First Nation owned and operated farming operation. 🚜

As we take part in Saskatchewan Agriculture Week (October 5–11), we join others across the province to and highlight the growing role of First Nations in Canada’s agriculture industry.

For generations our people have had a deep relationship with the land. Today that connection continues through innovation, sustainability and food production that strengthens our Nation and builds opportunity for the next generation.

Celebrating Treaty Days at Asham’s Beach

PFNGC spent the last three days at Asham’s Beach celebrating Treaty Days and the annual traditional powwow! It was a great time reconnecting with community and enjoying the festivities.

A big thank you to K+S Potash and our partners at SITE for donating items for the giveaways—and to Pro Metal Industries Ltd. for donating a custom collapsible fire pit. Congratulations to Alex George, who took that home!
