If you know me you know how much I love animals and for 13 years since I started my own company (some of these people I have been with for 17 years) have made very special bonds with. I can’t even say they’re clients anymore, they are a part of my family. One particular family I am especially close with. Miss Judith is my mentor, my confidant and my friend. I am literally the only other person on this earth she would entrust her precious fur baby Daisy with. Not only do I love this pup but my employees over the years have also bonded with her. I have spent countless hours at their beautiful cottage over looking Lake Muskoka caring for her sweet Daisy while she was away at appointments in the city or in meetings. Whether we were napping, playing ball, watching TV, having sleep overs or giving Daisy a bath (which entailed blowing her dry and fluffing her) I feel very honoured to have had the opportunity to have spent so much time with this sweet soul. Daisy was a service dog, a companion and Judith’s best friend. My heart aches today for my friend Judith, I feel her loss and I will miss our sweet Daisy girl. I love my job. I love the connections I have with my “clients” and I am grateful that I get to do what I do everyday.
