At the Nelson Box Office, we accept parcel deliveries from Purolator, Canpar, DHL, and Loomis, but we can only offer Purolator as a shipping service. We are a drop-off location for pre-labeled or pre-paid DHL, Loomis, and Canpar packages. However, we do not offer any services for other courier companies.
We do not have access to the programs, systems, or information for other couriers like UPS, FedEx, BNI, and Canada Post. We have no more access or knowledge about these services than the general public.
That said, we do offer a mailbox rental service for 3-month, 6-month, and annual terms. For customers who have rented a mailbox with us, we can accept deliveries from other couriers like FedEx, Canada Post, and UPS. But even then, we do not have any additional access or information about those parcels beyond what the customer would have.
Unfortunately, we do not offer or accept parcels for the general public from other carriers, as they have their own pickup locations in town. Without a contracted mailbox rental, it poses too much liability and risk for our business and staff to accept parcels on behalf of the general public, as we lack access to the tracking systems, helplines, and shipping capabilities of those other courier services.
Any parcels received that are not from our mailbox customers or our approved delivery services will either be refused or incur a $9 service charge per parcel.
