A reminder that the spring work day is on for Saturday April the 18th. Weather is looking great!

The Spring Work Day will be held at the LCCTPA Experimental Tree Lot in Seffernville ( #3144 Hwy 12) on Saturday, April 18, starting at 8:30am. Please come out if you can to help with the spring maintenance of the trees. Bring your own shears and pruners if you have them, or if you would like to help but don't have your own equipment, please just let us know and we will find some equipment for you to use. All are welcome. Lunch will be provided, homemade baked beans, brown bread, hotdogs, sweets and drinks!

After 12 Christmas seasons at Karl’s U-pick here in New Ross, I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out over the years.

I truly enjoyed meeting you, chatting by the trees, watching kids pick “the one,” and seeing folks head back up the road with muddy boots, cold hands, and a good tree on the truck. Whether you came on a bright day or through snow and wind, I appreciated every visit.

I’m especially thankful to everyone who chose to support local — it really does mean more than you know. While I won’t be offering public u-pick trees anymore, I’ve loved every season and every customer.

And a big thank you to my nephew, Kyle! I couldn’t have done it without you.

Thanks again, and I wish you all a great year.
