BACK TO SCHOOL! 📚✏️

A little throwback to a project that feels just right for this time of year…

Two sisters. Two very different favourite colours. 💗💜
Two bedrooms designed to give each girl a space that felt completely her own — including a dedicated desk for homework, creativity and all those school projects!

And right between their rooms? A cozy shared reading nook — a special little place to curl up with a book, hang out together and connect.

I’ve always believed our surroundings can influence how we live, learn and grow.

Our Instagram poll helped choose the direction for this custom mudroom wall unit, and Cheating Heart took the vote. Paired with the beautifully warm Kiss Curl wood finish and brushed brass hardware, the result is rich, welcoming and full of personality.

Cabinetry and hardware are going in, and these finishing details are bringing the entire design to life. Who knew Kiss Curl and Cheating Heart could make such a beautiful match? 😉

It’s all starting to come together!

I popped into this job site to check on the progress and was thrilled to see this beautiful home slowly transforming into a brighter, fresher and more inviting space.

New hardwood floors, fresh paint, updated finishes and all those thoughtful little details are making such a BIG impact. It’s amazing how the right changes can breathe new life into a home while still respecting its original character.

There’s still more to come, but I’m loving watching our vision come to life—one detail at a time.

I had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Cambria Gallery to explore the latest countertop and backsplash inspiration. While photos are helpful, nothing compares to experiencing the colour, movement, texture, and scale of these stunning slabs up close.

Choosing the perfect surface is about more than selecting a countertop—it’s about creating a space that reflects your lifestyle and brings you JOY every single day.

One of my favourite parts of the design process is guiding clients through these selections, helping narrow the options and discover the surface that feels just right for their home.

If you’re planning a kitchen, bathroom, or even a statement fireplace, visiting a showroom like this can make all the difference. Seeing these beautiful materials in person often brings clarity and confidence to the design process.
