A notice to the residents of the Town of New-Wes-Valley. Due to a mechanical issue, there will be no curbside collection on Monday, Oct. 19th and there will be a double run on Tuesday the 20th.

CNWM would like to notify the public of the following changes in curbside collection for the Thanksgiving holiday on Monday, October 12th.

The Regional Site and 7 Transfer Stations will be closed. Transfer Stations will also be closed on Saturday, October 10th.

Collection for Appleton & Glenwood will be on Tuesday, October 13th.
Collection for New-Wes-Valley will be on Tuesday, October 13th.
Collection for Millertown/Buchans Junction/Badger will be on Tuesday, October 13th.
Collection for Botwood will be on Tuesday, October 13th.
Collection for Gander Bay South/Main Point/Davidsville will be Wednesday, October 14th.
Collection for Gambo will be on Wednesday, October 14th.
Collection for Gander will be on Wednesday, October 14th.
Collection for Parkview/Virgin Arm/Carters Cove will be on Wednesday, October 14th.

A reminder to residents of the Central Region - in observance of The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Wednesday, our facilities will be closed.

The Fogo Island Transfer Station will remain closed on Thursday and the Gander Bay Transfer Station, normally closed on Thursdays, will be open.

♻️ Central Clean Sweep is this Saturday!

We hope to see you at the Central Clean Sweep this Saturday at the Regional Site in Norris Arm, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

It’s a great opportunity to clean out the shed, basement or garage and make sure those items are handled properly.

Bring your:
🛢️ Used oil, antifreeze, filters and containers (less than 50 L)
💻 End-of-life electronics
🎨 Leftover paint and paint cans

While you’re here, grab a quick snack, pick up some swag and enter your name for a prize draw!

A big thank you to our event partners at UOMA Atlantic, Recycle My Electronics, the MMSB, the Town of Gander, the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor, and the Town of Lewisporte for their generous prize donations, including a Ninja Frost Vault cooler, FoodCycler, tumbler composters and $50 gas cards.
