Going through photos from the summer and our trip to Madeira, Portugal. What an adventure!

Travel is a huge part of who I am and what brings me the most joy. Madeira was unique, beautiful, and we made the most of what the island had to offer--hiking, Christiano Ronaldo, our seaside home for the week, and family time.

I want to keep travelling so starting something new that will bring me more freedom of time and flexibility was a huge motivator to start and continue learning.

Before sitting down to get some work done, I did a quick stair workout in the forest--reminded daily of how lucky I am to live amongst so much beauty!

As the flowers are almost at their end in my garden this year, there's still a few blooming beautifully helped along by the autumn sunshine. I'm going to miss my garden fresh bouquets!

Happy October 1st!

I've been studying, volunteering, trying new things, parenting, travelling, and trying to get back into the groove now that school schedules are more predictable and I control my time better than the past few months.

I'm excited to be back and learning new skills (4 projects on the go!). I feel I have needed time and space for my brain to absorb it all and be able to have the space to focus.

The sidelines are still where you will find me cheering the loudest as both JV and Varsity football seasons start officially today! Rugby starts on Monday and two soccer teams are well underway for the boys.

So many opportunities ahead and I'm deep diving into them all! Yeah!! It's my turn for something new🥰

So many sidelines this weekend--soccer playoffs, rugby provincials, and track qualifiers. Many ups and downs but cheering loudly from this mama!!

In the quiet moments, I go to the garden--my first peony blooms of the season. My first garden bouquet🩷

Well, it's been a minute. Last week on the sidelines and in the car was almost too much--but lots of excitement as kids and their teams qualify for the next step towards provincials.

It's important to try and squeeze in time for me though and the sun shone through the trees and I planted my garden. Can't wait to see what comes up in a few weeks!

The weekend was jammed packed--5 games on Saturday all over the lower mainland but Sunday--ahh--my time. Forest run, which included a river and a lake, and time in my garden. Flowers make me happy and are a great distraction from what has to get done! HAHA!
