Pirate Gold Corp.

Pirate Gold Corp. Pirate Gold Corp. (Formerly Sokoman) (TSXV: YARR) (OTCQB: YARRF) is a discovery-oriented company with Gold projects in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

Sokoman Minerals Corp. is a discovery-oriented company with projects in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The Company's primary focus is its portfolio of gold projects; the 100%-owned flagship, advanced-stage Moosehead, Crippleback Lake, and the district-scale Fleur de Lys project near Baie Verte in northwestern Newfoundland, that is targeting Dalradian-type orogenic gold minerali

zation similar to the Curraghinalt and Cavanacaw deposits in Northern Ireland. The Company entered into a strategic alliance with Benton Resources Inc. through three, large-scale, joint-venture properties including Grey River, Golden Hope, and Kepenkeck in Newfoundland. Sokoman is one of the largest landholders in Newfoundland, in Canada's newest and rapidly emerging gold districts. In October 2023, Sokoman and Benton completed an agreement with Piedmont Lithium Inc., a major developer of lithium projects and processing plants in the USA, and exactly the right partner to have to advance the lithium project. The agreement provides for Piedmont to earn up to 62.5% of the Killick Lithium Project (formerly Golden Hope project) by funding up to $12 million in exploration expenses and issuing $10 million common shares in three stages. The Killick Lithium Project has been transferred to Killick Lithium Inc. (Killick), a 100%-owned subsidiary of Vinland Lithium Inc. (Vinland). Newly created Vinland has received $2 million in financing from Piedmont for a 19.9% interest, with the balance of ownership between Sokoman and Benton. Sokoman and Benton will continue to operate the exploration efforts at Killick through the earn-in stages. Sokoman and Benton will retain a royalty of 2% NSR on future production. Piedmont will have exclusive marketing rights for the promotion and sale of any lithium products produced from the project on a life-of-mine basis, and the right of first refusal on 100% offtake rights to the lithium concentrates. Projects optioned with optionee fully vested:

- East Alder Project optioned to Canterra Minerals Inc (SIC retains 850,000 shares of CTM plus 1% NSR)
- Startrek Project optioned to Thunder Gold (SIC retains 1,750,000 shares of TGOL plus 1% NSR)

Moosehead keeps growing. New veins. New zones. More high-grade gold.

In this episode, the Pirate Gold crew returns to the Moosehead Zone, where drilling continues to expand the footprint of one of Newfoundland’s most exciting high-grade gold systems.

Core from the Rib Vein continues to deliver visible gold and strong grades, including previous hits of 65.1 g/t Au over 3.25m, with the structure now traced across 150m of strike and 90m vertical depth.

Step-out drilling continues to expand the vein along strike and at depth, while a growing regional discovery southwest of Moosehead is beginning to reveal a broad stockwork-style gold system extending over 200m of strike.

Meanwhile, deeper drilling at the Western Trend has returned 21.4 g/t Au over 2.20m, reinforcing the scale potential of the system at depth.

Every hole is expanding the footprint.

Moosehead continues to prove why it’s one of the most exciting high-grade gold systems in Newfoundland.

In this clip from Pirate Gold Chronicles, we chart the course on what makes the Moosehead Zone special. With over 100,000 metres of drilling and 650+ holes completed, the scale and continuity of the system are becoming harder to ignore.

But the real story? Most of Treasure Island is still largely uncharted.

This is Crippleback.

Deep in central Newfoundland, two drills are turning day and night along the same regional trend that hosts some of the province’s most significant gold discoveries.

What started as a target is quickly becoming something much larger. Hole after hole is cutting through strong pyrite mineralization, vuggy silica, intense silicification, and advanced argillic alteration across a massive hydrothermal system stretching roughly 1.7 km long, 700 m wide, and extending more than 400 m deep.

The deeper the team goes, the more the system starts to reveal itself.

Greg Matheson, VP Exploration at Pirate Gold, showcases core from Crippleback Lake displaying strong vuggy silica textures formed by highly acidic hydrothermal fluids. The cavities have since been infilled with sulphide minerals, predominantly pyrite, alongside intense silicification across the system. Key indicators associated with a large and active alteration system.

New Interview | Expanding the Footprint: Pirate Gold’s Large-Scale Alteration System at Crippleback Lake

Pirate Gold CEO Denis Laviolette joins Mining Stock Daily to discuss the Company’s latest drilling results at Crippleback Lake and the continued expansion of a large-scale alteration system along the Valentine Lake Fault Zone in Newfoundland.

The conversation covers the growing hydrothermal footprint, strong sulphide development, widespread alteration, and why the system at Crippleback is still in the early stages of taking shape.

PGC-26-064 – Vuggy Silica with Pyrite

Featured in our May 1, 2026 news release, this core is from hole PGC-26-064, drilled into the alteration system on the north side of Crippleback Lake.

📍 Crippleback Lake

📏 Depth: 0–797 m

The hole begins in chlorite-altered quartz monzonite with disseminated pyrite (0–107 m), transitioning into silicified, vuggy volcanic and intrusive rocks (107–197 m) with pyrite as stringers and disseminations.

From 197–349 m, intense clay alteration dominates (pyrophyllite, muscovite, kaolinite) with local vuggy textures and pyrite, followed by monzonite (349–600 m) hosting phengite/montmorillonite alteration and semi-massive pyrite stringers.

A fault at ~600 m introduces further clay alteration and localized vuggy silica, before ending in relatively fresh monzonite to 797 m.

Visual observations of mineralization are not a substitute for assay results.

Treasure Hunters Episode 10 Now Airing – https://youtu.be/e1_uGzdDJ8Q

Crippleback reveals scale. The target grows.

In this episode, the Pirate Gold crew shifts to Crippleback, where drilling begins to define a large hydrothermal system beneath the surface.

Core from the first holes shows heavy sulphide mineralization, with pyrite and chalcopyrite throughout, helping vector toward potential gold.

Drilling has confirmed extensive clay alteration, with hundreds of meters of continuous alteration highlighting the scale and intensity of the system.

Geological markers like vuggy silica and advanced argillic alteration point to a high sulphidation epithermal environment, with potential links to a deeper gold-copper porphyry source.

Each hole is expanding the footprint and refining the path toward discovery.

Crippleback is just beginning to take shape.
