Election signs are everywhere right now. They help voters speak up, neighbours vote, and democracy happen. But come December? They become garage clutter and roadside litter.

Here is the good news: Recycling them is easy and convenient.

Bring your election signs - metal, plastic, paper, coroplast - to WCS Depot for drop-off recycling. We handle the rest , ensuring they don’t end up in community’s landfill.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁: 100% of the profit will be donated to local charities as WCS Depot had been done for the last 8 years. Your signs get second life, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 your support causes that matter.

🚛👋 After 8+ years of early mornings, full loads, and keeping city spotless, Clifford Leslie is officially hanging up his keys!

From navigating those West Van hills to being the friendly face residents could set their clocks by, Cliff has picked up (literally) thousands of tons trash cans.

Thank you, Cliff, for your work ethic, dedication and for always showing up rain or shine.
Wishing you a retirement as smooth as your driving! 🎉🥳👏

Throwback to a weekend we're still thinking about. 🚛 Back in August, as a proud Silver Sponsor of the 2026 Downtown Port Coquitlam Car Show — and joining the Tri-Cities antique car community for the very first time — we had the chance to meet neighbours, talk shop, and watch a whole lot of kids fall in love with our miniature front-load truck.

The classic cars were stunning, but the real highlight was seeing different generations come together on the downtown streets. Thank you to the organizers, the volunteers, and everyone who stopped by to say hello.

We've finally rounded up the memories in a full recap on the blog 👉 https://wastecontrolservices.com/articles/where-classic-cars-and-community-meet-waste-control-services-at-the-2026-downtown-poco-car-show/
