As a proud member of Six Nations, Nate Longboat, aka, DJ Big Poppa, provides his community with quality, affordable musical entertainment. Nate is the first person on Six Nations Reserve to establish and successfully operate a mobile DJ Service. Working intimately with each of his clients, Nate strives to create unique and memorable experiences for their guests- whether they are at a wedding, priv

ate party or in a club setting. One of the things very close to Nate’s heart is working with native youth in his role as a mentor. As a survivor of a serious motor vehicle accident, Nate uses his recovery stories and music- along with his positive attitude and disarming demeanor- to help motivate the young people in his community. For Nate it’s all about cultivating and nurturing relationships through music and shared experiences. ‘I feel that music has the power to not only unite us, but also to heal us.’
