Our Riesling has been recognized at the All Canadian Wine Championships for two consecutive vintages and continues to earn praise from wine critics and guests alike.

In a recent review of our upcoming 2025 vintage, Julian Park of BC Wine Trends awarded the wine 92 points and described it as:

"Aromas of crisp apple, honeysuckle, white peach and fresh melon rise from the glass. The palate is vibrant and beautifully balanced, offering flavours of Honeycrisp apple, honeydew melon, citrus blossom and delicate floral notes. Off-dry in style, the wine’s touch of sweetness is perfectly countered by bright, mouthwatering acidity, creating a Riesling that is both refreshing and remarkably versatile. The finish is long, clean and expressive, inviting another sip. 92 Points. Also pair with sweet-and-sour prawns, Asian-inspired cuisine or spicy summer dishes."

Known for its bright acidity, refreshing fruit character, and remarkable versatility at the table, Riesling remains a favourite at Hester Creek.

Field trip! Some of the Hester Creek crew took a break from the usual routine and spent a day exploring Burrowing Owl and touring Nk'Mip Cellars, followed by an amazing lunch at The Bear, The Fish, The Root and The Berry.
