I've had this slide extension for my F1 for years but never had a need to use it until now.

This is a 3D printed alignment jig and a test run before a big customer order. It takes some effort to get it set up, but after that it works well (inside Xtool's closed ecosystem.)

Pen case version 2. I got tired of having pens getting damaged in my pocket (especially when they leaked!)

First I tried version 1 (the black case), this prevented the pen from breaking, but the pens stopped working anyway!

I think the problem is fine grift getting into the ballpoint, so version 2 is a full enclosure with a locking cap. The ridge on the cap has to align with the one on the body for it to come off.

I'm going to look like a real nerd when I need to use it, but if that's what it takes to have a reliable pen, I'm up for it!

Checking out a reel of very affordable PLA from .ca. It doesn't bear a "Made in Canada" label, but I'm sure there's a lot more Canadian content than a lot of other suppliers. 🇨🇦 If it prints well, this could be my go-to filament.

Load testing this system to mount a new monitor to the shelving system in the shop. All the load is on the tabs that go into the keyhole slots, which might be asking a lot from PETG. This 2 lb (909g) weight is more than the weight of the monitor. I'll check it in a day and if there are any signs of stress I'll extend the mount to cover four holes and distribute the weight more evenly. I might do that anyway just to be sure.
