Playing Bill in "Tales from the Void" was one of the most intense and creatively rewarding experiences of my acting career.

I got to be one of the leads in a horror/thriller story, push myself into some dark territory and spend a fair amount of time covered in blood.

Exactly the opposite of what I enjoy doing in my real life! 🩸🎬

The script gives you the words.

But you have to create the moment and the life behind the words

Before you speak, you must know:

What just happened?
What do I want now?
What am I feeling now?
Why do I need to say this now?

When you answer those questions before "memorizing lines" the dialogue stops feeling like lifeless words that an actor is performing.

Instead, they start feeling like something a real human being actually says.
