This project has taken WEEKS, and it’s nearly done! Formerly the “playroom” for littles is now “The Little Room” for big kids to hang out, play games and chill 😄 Our kids cleaned out a lot of toys and books to make space for a new season, and with only a few boxes left to sort, this declutter project is a BIG WIN 🙌

Pulled out these items in April…only kept the iced coffee pitcher. The Minimal Mom introduced me to the idea of a “Time Will Tell” bin: it gives you time to consider if you really want to let things go, or if there’s something you’d like to keep. In my experience most things go, but the bin gives you time to think and create a detachment from the items. ☺️

This is your simplicity, your home, your life. Dismiss any advice that tells you how it SHOULD be. Even if it came from me. Use other people’s thoughts, posts, books and ideas as inspiration. Take some of it, leave some of it. Come back to it, release it, change it. The best way is the way that works best for you.

Where are my fellow campers and travelers? 🙋‍♀️ How is it we can live out of a suitcase and small space for days or weeks at a time - and LOVE IT! - but in our daily lives we’re surrounded by stuff?!? What if everyday we surrounded ourself with more things we love and less “stuff”? Something to think about! ❤️
