Posting season can come with big expenses you didn’t plan for.

A quick checklist can help you stay ahead:
✅ list the 'known costs' (travel, fuel, lodging, meals, deposits)
✅ add a buffer (10–15%) for surprises
✅ track spending daily during house-hunting trips (notes app works)
✅ confirm who can access accounts/pay bills while you’re on the move
✅ if there’s extra pay involved, decide together where it goes (debt, savings, moving costs)
✅ familiarize yourself with you relocation directive

A plan doesn’t remove every stress but it can prevent 'surprise bill' stress later.
