Whether it was looking through family snapshots or being captivated by a single photograph, a mere moment caught on film, and how it can effect you. I reached a point where looking was no longer enough and I wanted to understand the mechanics and the magic of taking a good picture. Over the last 4 years I have been working my way through the Algonquin program to learn the fundamentals of photograp
hy in the world of digital imaging that exists today. I am almost at the end of my accredited course and have amassed (for now anyway ;) ) the necessary tools of the trade and would like to take it further and find a way to pay for this passion of mine. To that end I have been using my skills to help others capture important moments in their lives. Family gatherings, business functions, documenting collections for personal and insurance purposes and of course our loved ones, two and four legged. Everyone has a phone and a camera today, but even so, moments are missed, the obvious is overlooked and the chance to capture what was, gone. So very often we can see the picture, but capturing it can be so elusive. I thank you for stopping by, having a look at my work and if you have any inquires or questions, please feel free to send me an email at [email protected]
I will finish by sharing one of my favourite quotes,
βWhen words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.β
