The cheekiest little celebrity in Brussels. 😂🇧🇪

I had heard so much about Manneken-Pis that, in my head, I was looking for this BIG statue. Imagine my surprise🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ 😂. I could have walked straight past him if not for the crowd gathered around.

This is one of the things I love about travelling. Yes, I come for the sights, but I stay curious enough to learn the stories behind them. No, I'm not a history buff but knowledge is wasted.

So, I did a little reading y'all. This tiny guy dates back centuries, has been stolen and recovered multiple times, and has a wardrobe of over 1,000 costumes.

He even gets dressed for special occasions and has received outfits from around the world. He owes some big brand names like Louis Vuitton. Imagine that 🫡🤔😳😮

Tiny? Absolutely.
Forgettable? Apparently NOT. 😂

Travel really is really educational. 🌍❤️

Some people see a store.

I saw JOY✨

There’s something about colour that makes me stop, look, wander in… and instantly feel lighter.

That’s one of my favourite things about travelling — you never know what little corner of the world will remind you of the things that make you you.

I showed up in colors too. I love it.

You have one night in Brussels and your luggage is NOT coming sightseeing with you. 😂

Found luggage lockers right at the train station, dropped the bags and went exploring. One less thing to figure out if Brussels is a quick stop on your Europe trip.

A lot can change in 16years but for me the more things change, the more they remain the same.

Very expensive p*e+pooh. A whopping 3cad access to excrete waste matter.

A Brussels thing or some other parts of Europe. We read that we can expect to pay to p*e in Paris but that didn't happen. There were even washrooms on the streets.

Finding "free" water as in fountains or dispensers was another story. It all costs money.
