🚛 Exciting Times at Skatin Community School! 🚛
Friday morning was filled with excitement at Skatin Community School as Daniel Sam and Rod Ross stopped by to spend some time with the students and community members.

The kids had the opportunity to get up close to some impressive equipment, including a low-bed tractor and the new CAT 730 Rock Truck recently purchased through the partnership between Skatin and Lizzie Bay Logging.

It was great to see so many smiling faces, curious questions, and future operators climbing aboard to check out the equipment firsthand. Opportunities like these help connect our youth with the people, skills, and equipment that support local projects and careers in our communities.

A big thank you to Daniel and Rod for taking the time to share their knowledge and give everyone a hands-on look at the equipment.

We're proud to be part of building opportunities and creating connections within the Skatin community.

The Lizzie Bay crew is collaborating with Lil Wat Forestry Ventures on an additional fuel treatment project surrounding the MT Currie community, highlighting the importance of forest thinning initiatives for both community protection and wildlife habitat preservation.

Hello In-shuck-ch Road Users,

Lizzie Bay Logging will begin a road elevation lift project at approx. 32.5km west tomorrow, Nov 28th. We expect the project to be completed by next Friday , Dec 6th.
We will be hauling material form the pit beside the bridge at 28.5km, so expect to encounter rock trucks travelling to and from the pit. The trucks will be calling kms on RR3.
We hope to keep traffic moving with only short delays, however, we anticipate short closures will be required.
Darwin Smith will be onsite as one of the traffic control personnel. Please call him on RR3 before you arrive at the worksite to ensure smooth passage.
