What started as a solution for me is becoming something bigger.
This morning, I'm taking a moment to reflect.
Over the past year, alongside serving clients and running Simplifeye Optical, I've been working on a project that was born from a very simple need: I needed a better way to manage and grow my business.
So I started building systems.
At first, they were just for me.
Workflows, processes, automations, checklists, and tools designed to solve the challenges I was facing as an independent optician wearing all the hats.
But as I connected with other opticians and business owners, I realized many of them were facing similar struggles.
What started as a personal solution slowly began evolving into something that could help others too.
Yesterday, after a long day of work behind the scenes, I realized I'm finally in the home stretch.
There's still work to do, but for the first time, I can clearly see the finish line.
And today, instead of focusing on what's left, I'm choosing to appreciate how far I've come.
Sometimes the most meaningful things we build start because we're simply trying to solve a problem in our own lives.
Sometimes they grow into something we never expected.
Today, I'm grateful for both the journey and the reminder that progress is worth celebrating—even before the work is completely finished.
What have you been working on that started as a solution to your own challenge?
