This vital development will provide 81 new child care spaces when it opens in late 2025, making it easier for families to call Penticton home.

In partnership with the ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ง and the ๐˜๐Œ๐‚๐€ of the Southern Interior BC, the expanded facility will include:

๐Ÿจ 44 spaces for children aged three to kindergarten
๐ŸŽ“ 24 spaces for school-aged children

Supported by a substantial grant from the Province, this project ensures high-quality child care and a brighter future for Penticton families. The YMCA, western Canadaโ€™s largest licensed child care provider, will operate the facility, bringing decades of experience in creating programs that help children stay active, build friendships, and grow their confidence.
