Last week we had our annual CPHR BC & Yukon HR in the Vineyard, hosted at the beautiful Northern Lights Estate Winery! This was the last of the Summer Social series for the season and we had such an amazing turnout, with special guest Trish Andrea, our CPHR Registrar, my fellow Northern Advisory Council members and of course the fabulous Tim Read to bring us all together. Thank you so much to everyone who came out and joined us in games and good conversation, and ending with the beautiful sound bath from Andria Taylor at The Lighthouse Holistic Wellness Studio. It was a great way to kick off the summer with my fellow HR professionals!

May the summer months gift us all time to rest, recharge, and revel in the beauty of this life and this place we call home.

Thank you for the monthly sessions! I’m so grateful for all of the amazing connections I get to make. AND I’ll never save no to anything caffeinated (see how I’m clutching onto my coffee for dear life in each photo? ☕️)

This month I got to connect with .princegeorge, and which was so fun! And I got to reconnect with - please enjoy my face of pure enthusiasm when we first met featured at the end. I’m always excited to see the friendly faces behind .ca and at local events too!

Prince George is full of incredible businesses powered by even more incredible people. I’m so thankful to be here, surrounded by them. 🫶🏻

So if you want a thriving page, I guess you need to remember to post.

I’ve been busy helping clients navigate people problems, workplace investigations, policy updates, and all the things that don’t make it to my camera roll (friendly reminder to review your employment agreements and policies if you haven’t this year).

So here’s last week’s content: an after-hours networking event at Costco; complete with bulk snacks, friendly conversations, and a reminder of how grateful I am for the opportunities that have presented themselves.

Busy is a blessing. Thanks for keeping me off Facebook and in the work!

We were proud to have Beverley representing Excel Personnel at the 2026 B2B Expo in Prince George!

The event was a great opportunity to connect with local businesses, strengthen community relationships, and announce our new partnership with Rebecca Blood HR Consulting to support businesses with recruitment and HR services across Northern BC.

Do you ever get so in the zone that time ceases to exist? I worked until 1:30am last night (or I suppose this morning) completing phase one of a project for a client that holds a special place in my heart. Thankfully, I remembered to schedule send so no one else lost precious sleep, and my husband has long since learned not to wait up for me when my creative spark is kindled. I’m feeling incredibly grateful today… especially for coffee ☕️

Shoutout to the gentleman from Westcana Electric Inc. who was kind enough to pay for my Tims order this morning! What a wonderful surprise - and you best believe I paid it forward. ☺️ I’m grateful, I’m caffeinated, and I’m ready to tackle this busy day!

I’m looking forward to joining Cam Roberts on his Stripe It Like It's Hot podcast this morning and then spending the afternoon with Nation2Nation Events for Day 1 of their Annual Women’s Gathering. AND the sun is shining so it truly feels like Spring is in the air!
