At first glance, these two exports look almost identical. But look closer. The RGB version creates a visible hazing effect in transparent elements and gradients that can show up in print.

Before sending your artwork, always:
✔️ Export in CMYK
✔️ Include bleed
✔️ Add crop marks

Even if it looks the same on your screen, it isn’t the same on press. A few extra seconds before exporting can make all the difference in the final print quality.

🤖 AI can make some pretty cool designs… but it doesn’t know how to print them.

We’ve been seeing more and more AI-generated artwork come through our shop, and while it may look finished on your screen, it’s often missing the things that actually make it printable:

❌ No bleed
❌ No crop marks
❌ Incorrect colour profiles
❌ Low-resolution images
❌ “Vector” files that aren’t actually vectors

That means someone has to fix it before it goes on press.

Starting now, AI-generated files that require prepress work will be subject to a setup fee. The more work required to make your file print-ready, the higher the fee.

If your file is already built correctly? No extra charge.

AI is a great starting point. A print-ready file is the finish line.
