I know my page has been quiet as I’ve had to pause my photography to focus on my health and my family but I still mingle in the wedding world and am excited to support a classmate from university who is opening up a stunning new wedding venue called Diamond In The Rough 😍😍😍 They will be at the With This Ring Bridal Gala tomorrow so be sure to pop in and say hi!

Okay guys, I'm gonna reach out to you for some help... first off, feel free to share this 👍🏻

I'm a part of a fundraising committee for a non profit organization geared towards providing funds to children and youth for riding lessons . Research shows involvement in equestrian activities promotes physical, occupational, and emotional growth in children and youth with: attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, depression, developmental delay, traumatic brain injuries, behavioral issues, abuse issues, post traumatic stress disorder, drug and alcohol addiction, and other mental health problems. I'm not going to bother digging up stats showing the steady increase in mental health concerns for today's generation, I have no doubts you're all aware of the need to address them.

Anyways..... I'd like to round up items for silent auctions. I know I've got ridiculously talented friends whose handcrafted items or services are highly sought after.... I know they would have a big impact in making our fundraising events a success ☺️❤️

All I ask is if you can donate something for our silent auctions, I'll be collecting donations through out the year and will keep you informed with how well they did in raising money for such a great organization. I would be so grateful for your help in making our events a success, and I KNOW the children and youth are thankful for your help in keeping them connected to an activity/lifestyle that increases their quality of life ❤️❤️❤️
If there are businesses that might be interested in sponsoring our events, in one way or other, I would love to gather a contact list!!!

I've recently learned about a fundraising event taking place this upcoming Saturday June 4th, just outside of Lacombe. The Flying Cross Ranch has organized a day full of fun activities for children of all ages, including: age appropriate/modified rodeo events; a petting zoo; pony rides, and; yummy treats like cotton candy!!

Not only is this a super cool idea, which I fully plan on taking Taylor to, but part of the proceeds go to special funding for families who have children who would love to take riding lessons but find that the costs are above their means. I've read through their website and am in love with their philosophy and how this organization wants to support families and children in their community.

Anyways, come out on Saturday, bring your littles and have some fun!!! Please share the crap out of this post, I'd love to see these guys have an overwhelming turn out!! People who look out and support others should have their efforts pay off ☺️ In my opinion

I had the priviledge to escape out to my friends place recently, a much needed time out from the city and my daily responsibilities. I packed up my camera, excited to have the opportunity to recharge my soul....
It felt amazing to surrounded by such a beautiful and peaceful place. I found that while I was recharging my soul, I was simultaneously capturing the very moments of my friend recharging his....
I have no words to describe my love for photography or for the gift I can give to others through it.... it makes my soul happy :)
