🚨 Big Update for PNP Applicants in Canada! 🇨🇦

Starting March 30, 2026, major changes have been introduced to the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) — and this is GREAT news for applicants! 👏

✅ Provinces and territories now have FULL authority to assess:
• Your intention to live in the province
• Your ability to settle economically

👉 This means once you receive a nomination, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) can NO longer refuse your application based on these factors.

💡 Your nomination certificate is now strong proof that:
✔️ You plan to stay in the province
✔️ You can successfully settle in Canada

🔍 IRCC will still check:
• Identity & document validity
• Nomination validity
• Medical, criminality & security admissibility
• Express Entry eligibility (where applicable)
• Exclusions under R87 (e.g., passive investment streams)

📌 Important:
This change applies to both new AND existing applications that haven’t passed eligibility stage yet!

🔥 What this means for you:
✔️ Lower chances of refusal
✔️ More trust in provincial decisions
✔️ Stronger pathway to PR

📍 Especially beneficial for applicants under SINP and other PNP streams!

🚨 SINP Application Fee Update – Effective April 1, 2026

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has announced a new application fee for skilled workers with job offers.

📌 What’s Changing?
Previously, applicants under the Skilled Workers with Job Offer stream did not pay any application fee.

Starting April 1, 2026, a $500 application fee will be required for these applications.

📊 Current vs New Fee Structure

✔ Skilled Workers without Job Offer – $500 (no change)
✔ Skilled Workers with Job Offer – $500 starting April 1, 2026

💡 The province says this change will help recover program administration costs and support immigration services.

⚠ Important:
If you plan to apply under the SINP Job Offer stream, submitting your application before April 1, 2026 may help you avoid the new $500 fee.

📩 If you need help with your SINP application or eligibility, feel free to reach out.
