In March/ early April, I had the opportunity to partner with the City of Regina on a project for the CNU Climate & Equity Challenge. It involved planning and conducting a walking tour in the North Central Neighbourhood. The goal was to observe and listen to the residents' concerns, hopes, and dreams through the lens of equity and climate resilience. We learned a lot and hope this exercise is the first step in a long-term plan for the neighbourhood's revitalization.
On April 24th, I received the good news that our project and reporting were selected as a finalist for the CNU's Climate & Equity Challenge. It is a great honour, and I am very thankful for such wonderful partners as the City Administration and the North Central Community Association. Without their help, this would not have been possible. I look forward to sharing more about this project with my colleagues at CNU 31.
