We were proud to provide a service to our wonderful community in Regina for over 11 years. We can't express how much we miss our many regular customers, and we hope that one day that our officials at the City of Regina and the RPS will step up, and make this right. You can't hate someone for making a mistake. But you can, and should always hold them accountable. The officers at the RPS who orchestrated this in June, 2022 are no longer working for the police department, but they too should be held accountable. It has been almost 3 years since this happened.

The damage this caused in so many peoples lives is unfathomable.

We hope with this new administration in place that they do the right thing now. We were proud to work for the City of Regina, and we were very proud to serve the many wonderful people in our community. We love our beautiful city of Regina, and we hope in some way shape or form to be able to serve the citizens of our amazing city again!

It’s hard to believe that we are still receiving some negative phone calls and messages from people three days after, but thankfully they have slowed down. We’re hoping In the days to come that more people get the message about what happened at the protest in Regina and this can evidently be used as an example of what not to let happen In the future.

Thank you to everyone who have shown our businesses support in the past few days! I’m happy to report that although we are still receiving some derogatory calls and messages or poor reviews on various platforms, that we are also now receiving many more messages of support rather then hate from people all across the country and around the world! I also want to give a huge shout out to all the truckers protesting across the nation and some of the ones who protested here in Regina Saskatchewan who have contacted us and offered their kind words and support following Sunday evenings ordeal. Protesting for something that you truly believe in shouldn’t be thought of as a bad thing. That’s our given right as Canadians to do so if it’s something we feel strongly about. What happened in Regina on Sunday was a disaster and was clearly due to poor leadership from a small fraction of those protesting.

The majority really did want it to remain peaceful and when those who were indeed hoping for a peaceful protest saw the extent of the damage that some of those individuals taking leadership with the convoy were doing here in Regina they got in their trucks and chose to distance themselves from that kind of toxic mindset. Some of those who distanced themselves from the protest on Sunday have expressed to me personally that they too are also now being outcasted by those who they looked to for leadership during the protest and that speaks volumes!

From the owner:

My heart is actually broken here. I can’t begin to express how ashamed I am by anyone who took part in group slandering our business as well as group slandering ABC Central Towing or any other business in relation to the freedom convoy in Regina, Sask.

I don’t know who was calling the shots that night and started the rumours that Alpine Towing and ABC Central Towing were towing from the convoy, but that person should be ashamed of themselves and I firmly stand behind what I’m saying here…..

Our company did not tow anything from the freedom convoy in Regina Saskatchewan, but boy oh boy have we ever gotten beaten down by hundreds of people like we had. We’re still being handed 1-Star reviews on various platforms. Not reviews that show anyone what kind of work we do. Not reviews showing that we showed up to do our job and actually made a mistake. If we receive a 1-star review it’s already tough to stomach because then we have to figure out where we went wrong and try to connect and correct it with the customer so we can see where they felt we went wrong or if they maybe had a true bad experience with one of our staff.

We’ve been receiving negative feedback and 1-star reviews on various platforms over something we didn’t even do. I’ve received screen shots from many people since that mistake first arose showing me that there were people acting as leadership and instructing others to follow what they were saying. They were group instructing 100’s and possibly thousands of people to give our companies 1-star reviews for towing vehicles and semi trucks from the protest in Regina and then when they realized they had the wrong companies they tried to back peddle like it never happened. Well for anyone out there who isn’t privy to what happened that night.

Our companies did in fact respectfully decline to tow from the protest in Regina Saskatchewan. Not because we’re anti police, not because we were rolling around the block to join the convoy, but because we didn’t want to be involved! Soon after we declined to tow, many of you started taking instructions from people acting as leadership for the protest, and they were falsely spreading rumours and lies that we had in fact been towing from the protest. Group slandering a business is bad enough already. Reviews on various platforms are meant to show potential future customers what kind of workmanship or experience a company provides. There were people slandering our business’s that evening based on someone else’s erroneous instructions, and when it was revealed that the person leading the movement that evening had made a mistake that’s when the 100’s of 1-star reviews and negative feedback we were getting from people turned into 100’s of apologies and some changed their 1-star reviews to 5 star reviews. Not all took back their 1-star reviews I might add. We are still going back and fourth with many people over their 1-star reviews they left us with not to mention we’re still receiving negative feedback and reviews for something we stepped away from having any part in.

It wasn’t the 1-star reviews that bugged me. It wasn’t the many messages we received from people cursing at us or telling us they thought we were disgusting human beings that bugged me.

It was this…..

We received death threats
We received bomb threats
We received threats to fire bomb our homes and business’s with Molotov cocktails
We received threats to have semi’s run over our drivers on the road if they ever see us out there working.
We received threats directed at our children even!

I had one gentleman yell at me from a transport truck while driving on Victoria Avenue near Regina Husky that evening that he was going to turn his truck around and use my service truck as a bowling pin and knock me down and take me out.

Then when everyone realized they had made a mistake that’s when the apologies started rolling in.

I’m all about a peaceful protest. I’m all about people rightfully expressing themselves and their own views. What happened that night was a total disaster and someone should be taking responsibility for that disaster. I’ve never been so disappointed about anything else my whole life to be honest. It comes down to this……

It’s come to my attention that many of you, and by many I mean 100’s or even thousands of people were instructed on various social media platforms to begin leaving us 1-star reviews, calling our offices and flooding our lines with people uttering death threats and bomb threats against us or even threats towards our children. We had one person make the comment that he hoped our children get kidnapped and r***d That’s pretty disgusting.

That’s not a peaceful protest. That’s just plain disgusting.

If you want to peacefully protest I’m all for it. That’s your right. If you want to speak YOUR mind and have YOURSELF heard! I love to see that! But when you start taking instructions from a person or multiple people you are looking at for leadership and they take you down the wrong path in such a way that it’s almost unforgivable……that’s where I have a big problem. The videos stating that our companies were towing the truckers from the freedom convoy are still being shared on social media. There are no videos showing us actually near the protest because we made the choice to stay away from it. There is one video of us sitting in a parking lot about 10-15 blocks away from the protest standing beside our trucks talking to each other and drinking our coffees because that’s exactly what we did. Although many of you have apologized, there are new occurrences happening every hour because of the videos circling the internet stating we were towing from the protest. We are still receiving phone calls from people making the utmost disgusting comments to our staff….and we had nothing to do with towing from the protest. We’re still being handed 1-star reviews in relation to the convoy. Not because we gave a customer a bad experience, but because people are not fact checking and jumping the gun to slander us.

I think all of you wanting to have your voices heard is great. I think all of you speaking your minds and having your own opinions is also great. Unfortunately a lot of you aren’t speaking for yourselves. You’re viewing a video spreading false information and group slandering our businesses that we’ve worked extremely hard for over the years. I think you guys need to stop listening to whomever was leading you into group slandering or group calling our companies or any companies for that matter and have your own voice. It’s one thing to protest and have your own set of views and opinions. It’s another thing all together to listen to someone else’s rumours, act on those rumours and then try to back peddle when you realize it was a mistake. At this point the damage has already been done.

Someone needs to step up and take responsibility for that damage……

A message from our management and staff:

There are people all around the world fighting the Covid-19 Pandemic. This is a time where WE ALL must band together and support one another.

There are so many people being affected by this pandemic whether it be the people who are suffering from Covid-19 and their families, or the people on the front lines fighting with everything they’ve got to help those who need it most in what has proven to be a very dark and difficult time for all of us.

We all have friends & family members that are being affected by this, business’s are having to close their doors or limit their services to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. People are losing their jobs and their incomes at an alarming rate and are left worrying about what’s going to happen next or if they’re going to be ok.

One thing we all have to remember is to have faith. Faith is the glue that binds us all together at a time like this. Take care of yourselves and take care of your families and friends, but most importantly let’s all help in taking care of each other by practicing good hygiene, social distancing, self isolating, and by doing everything we can for anyone we can who is currently being affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Our company along with many other companies in our community have had to limit services while we are all faced with the challenges that have risen due to this pandemic, but we go through each day feeling proud of what we do and have been shown so much support from our amazing clients and customers.

Thank you to our valued customers in Regina, Saskatchewan and surrounding area for everything you’ve done to show our company support. We have received many phone calls and messages from people showing their support at this time and it’s because of you wonderful and amazing people that we are able to put a smile on our faces and continue to provide our services. We have had to limit our services at this time, but we know with all the support that we’ve been shown that we will make it through this. So again thank you to the people of Regina and surrounding area, and thank you to our clients across the country and in the U.S.A for all your support also.

Pay for someone’s gas, help a family out with groceries and supplies if they’re running low and are affected by a job loss or are quarantined at home or in the hospital. Help support small business’s that have had to shut their doors either partially or permanently while we fight through this pandemic. Just simply be there for each other no matter who it is that needs you, and with our combined efforts we will make it through this!
