I'm celebrating 5 years in business today!
That’s half a decade of late nights, deep breaths, and trusting that tiny voice that said, “You can do this.”
I didn’t start this business with a big plan. I started it because I needed a way forward.
A way to support myself and a way to feel like me again.
Has it always been easy?
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
But, I created something that's grown alongside me.
It’s been my creative outlet, my steady income, my push for personal development, and my reminder that imperfect action counts.
I’ve learned:
👉Rest is part of the process, and not negotiable.
👉Working with the right clients feels less like work.
👉The world won't end if I change my mind, pivot and/or... *gasp* make a mistake.
👉And that my success doesn’t have to (and won't) look like anyone else’s.
Today? I’m just feeling thankful for my family and friends (virtual and IRL) who cheered me on.
For my clients who trusted me.
And the version of me who gave this business a shot.
