Good morning, beautiful people. 🤍

Some mornings 🌅we wake up already thinking about everything we need to handle—the responsibilities, the decisions, the people depending on us, and the things we still don’t have answers for.
But this verse reminds me that I don’t have to be my own source of strength.
God is my rock 🪨when life feels uncertain.
He is my fortress when I feel overwhelmed.
He is my strength💪 when mine is running low.
And He is the One I can trust when I cannot see what comes next.
So today, before you carry everybody else, before you start worrying about tomorrow, and before you try to figure everything out…

Give today to God.🙏💙

Another night shift and am in my taughts. 💭
“Sometimes the hardest career decision isn’t leaving a bad job…
it’s questioning a good one.
Because when the pay is good, people expect you to be satisfied.
But what happens when you’re earning well and still thinking,
‘Is this really how I want my life to look five years from now?’
Maybe you want to be home more.
Maybe you want to create something of your own.
Maybe you simply want choices that don’t depend on your next shift.
A good salary can solve a lot of problems…
but it can’t decide what a good life looks like for you.

I can be grateful for my nursing career and still admit that I want more for my life.

Because gratitude and satisfaction are not the same thing.

I’m grateful for what nursing has given me—the experience, the people I’ve met, the skills I’ve gained, and the difference I’ve been able to make.

But I can appreciate all of that and still want more flexibility.

More time with my family.

More space to grow.

And more choices about how I spend my time.

Wanting something different doesn’t erase your gratitude.

Maybe that’s my sign.
Keep going. Keep moving. Stay the course.
Because this chapter is hard — but it is not the whole story.
