Major Projects are moving in Northeast Alberta — and workforce readiness will determine who can compete and deliver.

Join us at the St. Paul Recreation Centre, 4802 53 Street, St. Paul, AB, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, for the N.E. Alberta Major Projects Exchange.

We are focused on preparing the region’s workforce for major project demand.
This event will:

● identify labour shortages and recruitment barriers tied to major projects
● connect employers with training providers and workforce supports
● highlight certification and training pathways tied to readiness and safety standards
● strengthen partnerships that support local hiring and retention.

We’re only TWO WEEKS away from the St. Paul Job Fair!

If your business is hiring now, anticipating future staffing needs, or simply wants to connect with potential employees in our region, now is the time to register.

The St. Paul & District Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Employabilities, Lakeland Employment Services, Labour Force Link and the Alberta Chambers of Commerce, is bringing employers and job seekers together for an opportunity to make real, face to face connections.

Could your DREAM EMPLOYEE be waiting to meet you?

By participating, your business will have the opportunity to:
-Connect directly with local and regional job seekers
-Promote current and upcoming employment opportunities
-Meet candidates you may not reach through traditional job postings
-Build a pool of potential employees for future hiring needs
-Showcase your business and the career opportunities you offer
-Help strengthen and retain our regional workforce
-Opportunity for a free breakfast and a short presentation on
Inclusive Hiring to Celebrate Disability Employment Awareness month (DEAM)

You don’t need to have multiple positions available to participate. Whether you need one key employee, seasonal or part-time staff, skilled workers, or are preparing for future hiring needs, we encourage you to join us.

Not Hiring? You Can Still Help!

A strong business community relies on the support services, partnerships, and opportunities available to help both businesses and our workforce succeed.

Please help us spread the word by displaying the attached Job Fair poster at your business and sharing the Job Fair through your social media pages and networks.

Every share helps us reach another job seeker and potentially connect a local business with the employee they’ve been searching for.

Only two weeks to go....register your business today!

Whether you're a business owner, manager, employee, entrepreneur, agricultural producer or community leader, there will be something for you.

Over two days, we're building a diverse lineup of presentations and breakout sessions covering topics such as:
✔️ AI & Technology
✔️ Leadership & Business Growth
✔️ Employee Attraction & Retention
✔️ Financial Management
✔️ Legal & CRA Fundamentals
✔️ Agribusiness & Agrifood Opportunities
✔️ Workforce Development
✔️ Workplace Culture
✔️ Cultural Awareness
✔️ Employee Health, Wellness & Mental Health
✔️ Crime Reduction & Community Safety
✔️ Employee Benefits
✔️ Funding & Entrepreneurship
✔️ Regional Workforce Trends & Resources
✔️ And more!

But the Summit is about more than presentations.
- Build new business connections
- Discover ideas you can actually use
- Find resources to help your business grow
- Connect with organizations that support employers
- Explore our Exhibitor Trade Show
-Take advantage of additional networking opportunities

We know it's not always possible for business owners and employees to step away during regular business hours. That's why we're offering programming on both Friday and Saturday, giving you more opportunities to participate.

Strong businesses build strong communities. This Summit is about bringing knowledge, resources and connections closer to home so our businesses don't always have to travel to larger centres to access professional development and support.
