🔥 WHY SOME PEOPLE NEVER EXPERIENCE THE ANOINTING 🔥

There is a painful mystery in the Body of Christ—
Many talk about the anointing…
Many sing about the anointing…
But few walk in it.
The anointing is not noise.
It is not emotion.
It is not charisma.
The anointing is the tangible manifestation of God’s presence upon a yielded vessel.
Yet, some people never experience it.
Why?

🔥 1. THEY DESIRE THE POWER, BUT NOT THE PERSON

The anointing is not a tool—it is a Person revealed.
Many want to cast out demons, heal the sick, and be seen…
But they do not hunger for intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
📖 John 15:5 — “Without me, you can do nothing.”
The anointing flows from union, not ambition.

🔥 2. THEY REFUSE THE PRICE OF BROKENNESS

“God does not anoint titles—He anoints broken vessels.”
The oil only flows when the vessel is crushed.
📖 Psalm 51:17 — “A broken and a contrite heart… you will not despise.”
Some avoid the process—
They run from correction, pain, pruning.
But hear this:
No crushing, no oil.

🔥 3. THEY LIVE IN HIDDEN COMPROMISE

The anointing and sin cannot comfortably coexist.
📖 Isaiah 59:1-2 — “Your iniquities have separated you from your God.”
You can fake gifting,
But you cannot fake presence.
Many have talent…
But heaven is silent over their lives.
The anointing lifts when purity is compromised.

🔥 4. THEY NEGLECT THE SECRET PLACE

Power in public is born in private.
📖 Matthew 6:6 — “Enter your room… pray to your Father who is in secret.”
The anointing is not activated on stage—
It is cultivated in hidden places.
Some people want impartation…
But they reject consistency.
You cannot microwave the anointing.

🔥 5. THEY DISHONOR SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY

The anointing flows through divine order.
📖 2 Kings 2:9 — “Let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”
Elisha received because he honored, followed, and served.
In this generation, many want mantles…
But reject submission.
What you dishonor, you cannot receive from.

🔥 6. THEY SEEK MANIFESTATION WITHOUT TRANSFORMATION
Some want to look anointed…
But refuse to become transformed.
📖 Romans 12:2 — “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
The anointing is not decoration—
It is the overflow of a changed life.

🔥 7. THEY DO NOT DISCERN OR VALUE GOD’S PRESENCE
Kathryn Kuhlman would whisper:
"He is more real than anything in this world."
Many grieve the Holy Spirit through carelessness.
📖 Ephesians 4:30 — “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God.”
The anointing is sensitive.
It responds to honor, reverence, and hunger.

🔥 FINAL REVELATION
The anointing is not withheld from people—
It is entrusted to those who can carry it.
God is not looking for the most gifted…
He is looking for the most yielded.

âť“ QUESTION
If the Holy Spirit examined your life today—would He find a vessel ready to carry His anointing, or a life too crowded to host Him?

đź“– SERMON OUTLINE: THE FAITHFUL STEWARD OF GOD

Title: The Faithful Steward
Text: 1 Corinthians 4:2 "Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful."
Theme: Responsibility, Faithfulness, and Accountability

INTRODUCTION

• What is a Steward?

â—¦ A steward is not the owner, but a leader or caretaker.

â—¦ We do not own anything; everything we have (life, time, talent, money) belongs to God.

◦ We are just manage of God’s properties.

• The greatest test of a Christian’s life is not just being active, but being faithful.

I. THE CALLING OF A STEWARD
"Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God." (1 Cor 4:1)
A. We are Servants of Christ

• We belong to Him; He is our Master.

• Our duty is to please Him, not people.

B. We are Stewards of God’s Blessings

• God has entrusted us with:

1. Time - Every second is a gift.

2. Talents & Abilities - Skills, wisdom, voice, hands.

3. Treasure - Money, resources, material things.

4. Truth - The Gospel, the Word of God.

II. THE CHARACTER OF A FAITHFUL STEWARD
"...that a man be found faithful." (v. 2)
A. Faithful in Small Things

• "He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much..." (Luke 16:10)

• Do not wait for big opportunities; be faithful in your daily duties, in your family, in your work, in church attendance.

B. Faithful Even When No One is Watching

• Faithfulness is not for show or for praise.

• It is doing right because God is watching.

• Integrity = What you do when nobody sees you.

C. Faithful Despite Difficulties

• Not giving up when tired, persecuted, or unappreciated.

• "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord..." (1 Cor 15:58)

III. THE CONDUCT OF A STEWARD
"Moreover it is required in stewards..."
A. He is Trustworthy

• Can God trust you with His money? His work? His people?

B. He is Responsible

• He takes care of what is given.

• He does not waste resources.

• He uses everything for God’s glory, not for selfish gain.

C. He is Accountable

• He knows that one day, he will give a report to the Master.

• "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ..." (2 Cor 5:10)

IV. THE REWARD OF THE FAITHFUL STEWARD
"His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant..." (Matthew 25:21)
A. The Master’s Approval

• "Well done!" - This is the greatest award we can receive.

B. Promotion

• "...thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things."

C. Eternal Joy

• "...enter thou into the joy of thy lord."

CONCLUSION

• Life is short, and we are just passing through.

• We are not owners, we are just stewards.

• One day, God will ask you: "What did you do with what I gave you?"

Challenge:
"As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." (1 Peter 4:10)
Let us be found faithful until the end! 🙏

There is no one on earth who does what is right all the time and never makes a mistake.” Ecclesiastes 7:20 (GNT)

For many of us, failure seems like the unpardonable sin. We idolize success. But that kind of pressure creates major stress in our lives. The fear of failure has many different faces. It can cause you to be indecisive, a workaholic, and a perfectionist who clings to safety. Because we’re afraid to fail, we shun all kinds of risks.

The fear of failure can have an iron grip on our hearts. Even some of the best and brightest people in the world are impacted by the fear of failure.

That’s why I urge you to internalize this one simple message: We’ve all made mistakes. It’s not just a “you problem”; it’s a human problem. The Bible says, “There is no one on earth who does what is right all the time and never makes a mistake” (Ecclesiastes 7:20 GNT).

Not only have you made mistakes in the past, but you’ll also make more in the future. I guarantee it. Even playing it safe and refusing to take risks is a mistake.

As a pastor, I would hear people ask all the time, “What if I fail?” I asked them, “What do you mean if?”

You’ve already failed many, many times in life. So have I. In fact, you’re a failure in an area of your life right now. And you’ll fail a lot more in the future.

Even superstars stumble. The greatest professional basketball players only sink about half their shots. And the best professional baseball players get a hit only about one out of every three times at bat. Failure is normal.

You’ll never overcome your fear of failure until you fully accept the reality that you’re not perfect.

The Bible says there is only one failure you need to fear: “Be careful that no one fails to receive God’s grace” (Hebrews 12:15 NCV).

You need grace. We all do!

Only when we let go of the fear of failure will it let go of its maddening grip on our lives. Once that happens, we can fully accept the grace of God.

Wives, somewhere along the way the world twisted the picture and told women that being a Godly wife means you’re weak, controlled, or less than…and a lot of people bought that lie. But sister, the calling God placed on a wife is not small, quiet, or meaningless. It is powerful, weighty, and deeply spiritual.
Being a wife in God’s eyes is not just cooking meals, folding laundry, and keeping a house running. That’s the surface level stuff. The real calling runs a whole lot deeper than that. God placed you beside your husband as a helper fit for him, not beneath him like a servant, but beside him like a partner in the mission God gave your family. You were created to strengthen what God placed in him, to sharpen him when he grows dull, to pray over him when he’s under attack, and to speak wisdom and truth when the world is trying to pull him off course.
A Godly wife isn’t just someone who “submits.” That word has been thrown around so much people forget what it actually means. Biblical submission is not silence, fear, or being walked over. It’s a heart posture of trust in God’s design. It’s choosing to support the man God gave you while still walking boldly in the strength and wisdom the Lord placed inside you. A wife has influence over her husband’s heart in ways the world will never understand. Your words can either breathe life into him or slowly tear him down piece by piece.
God entrusted you with something sacred. The man you married carries burdens you may never fully see. The pressures, the expectations, the spiritual attacks that come for a man trying to lead a family are heavier than most people realize. And God placed you there to be a refuge, not another battlefield. You are called to guard the unity of your home, to encourage him when he grows weary, to remind him who he is in Christ when doubt creeps in, and to pray over that man.
This isn’t about control, and it’s not about losing your voice. A Godly wife is strong, wise, discerning, and full of quiet power. Look at the woman in Proverbs 31..she was hardworking, respected, business minded, generous, and spiritually grounded. Her husband trusted her completely, and her strength built her household instead of tearing it apart.
Wives, the enemy would love nothing more than to plant bitterness, competition, resentment, and pride inside marriages. He wants homes divided. He wants husbands and wives fighting each other instead of standing side by side against the real enemy. But a woman who understands her calling in God is dangerous to that plan. When a wife walks in humility, wisdom, and fierce loyalty to her marriage, she becomes a pillar that holds the whole house steady when storms come.
So wives, rise up in the role God gave you. Respect your husband, pray for him, stand beside him, and build your home with the kind of love, strength, and faith that only comes from the Lord. Because when a Godly man and a Godly woman both take their calling seriously, the kind of home they build becomes a fortress the enemy struggles embarrassingly to break.
Never forget, God didn’t place you in that marriage by accident. He trusted you with that man, that home, and that family. Walk in that calling with humility, courage, and fear of the Lord…because God sees the way you love, the way you build, and the way you honor the covenant you made before Him.

Wealth is a gift, a God-given ability. So if He gave you the mind to manage, the ideas to build, and the strength to earn — it’s because He’s trusting you with mission.
