Thank you all so much for supporting our little downtown group! 💫

We’re so proud of this fully volunteer based, fully community driven group of ours - and are so excited to have you all following along with us, as we continue to improve and further revitalize our downtown.

We’ve had 4 (!!!!!!) new business owners get keys to their storefronts this month, an incredible few first fridays, and an amazing summer season so far

We all wouldn’t be here without a community that chooses to support local, and we’re so thankful for all of you 🫶🏼🌞🥹

We can’t wait to spend First Friday with all of you again this weekend — take a peek at all the exciting events, pop-ups, and happenings your local businesses are putting on 🍋

Book a reso at your favourite restaurant. Stop by your favourite shop. Spend the night hoping around your downtown 🫶🏼

TOMORROW 🍋🥤🌞

The big squeeze with Big Brothers Big Sisters SL is back for another year — and our downtown is ready to line the streets with our lemonade stands all over again!

So many businesses will be popped up outside their storefronts, selling their take on lemonade, some baked goods, some bbqs, so many lemon things.

This is such a wonderful, family friendly way to spend your day and for such a good cause! And luckily with so many participants downtown — you can park, walk the strip, and hit so many lemonade stands in one go 🫶🏼

TOMORROW 🎨

Help us build our very first PAINT BY NUMBER community mural! This is the design!

How does a paint by numbers work? Exactly the same way it would have when you did them as a kid!

💫 we’ll have the design (pictured above!) sketched out and labelled
✨ you pick a colour, find your number, and fill in as many or as few blocks as you want
🌞 when you’re done, sign the back of the piece, so that you can leave your mark on it forever!

The end result is more local art in the community, built byyyyy the community 🎨

We hope this is the first of many times we’ll get to bring this project forward, and hopefully it’ll be a great way to get downtown, explore new businesses, and meet new local artists!
