They got even better!

I’ve heard that little saying before but tonight I experienced it!

Tonight was a night of squeezing things in and making things work. Because those things were important to me.

I’ve been building an online business for over a year now because I wanted a way to supplement my income but also have something that felt like I was working on myself a little bit. Mom life is chaotic and it leaves you stuck in looking after everyone else mode.

But I could never work online! I said those words for years! 🤭

Tonight I had two zoom meetings back to back and not one second of this felt like a chore. It felt like living and learning and developing.

And I forgot to mention, there was also a little side chat going on with two of my business partners at the same time while we were on the same zooms. Yes, multi tasking at its finest.

I often say in my posts that I can’t describe the sense of community and support this platform offers. And I’ll say it again tonight. It’s huge and it’s different than anything I’ve experienced.

Not all of us have “made it” in the way people are looking for. It’s not get rich quick by any means. It requires so much try and try yet again. But it’s all achievable with some time and effort - for us boring, average, everyday people! 😳

👉🏻If you’re stubborn and goal oriented, and you’re capable of dreaming big with the intention of putting the work in, this platform could work for you too.

Don’t be so quick to say you could never figure this all out. We all felt that way before but now we treasure what building online is doing for our families - and ultimately for us.

If you’ve been following along, we (my hubby 😳) tried re-homing our big dogs for 3 horrible weeks. They were supposedly going to a big beautiful 30 acre property where they could run free and live their best lives. It’s a really long story but it turns out, they were only interested in running free! 🥲

So they’re back! And they’re shiny and clean city dogs once again. And our little pup is so content. Turns out the life we can give them isn’t so bad after all. 🥰

But this got me thinking. 🤔

My husband was living with this feeling of wanting them to be free. He didn’t know if it would be better or worse for them until we tried it.

I talk to people all the time about looking into this Canadian platform if they’re looking for something to build online with.

People are curious and people wonder, but most don’t take the step to really check everything out.

And then they never know if it will be a fit for them or not.

Sometimes you’ve got to do the thing. Test the waters. And then you’ll know.

How often do you go to a basketball game on a Monday night?

Not often, unless your kid is playing. Right?

Tonight was a season opener for a semi-professional team in our city. My boys were excited about this so we went!

It was fun and different and felt good to spend time together doing something they love.

Ticket prices were steep but this time it didn’t matter because we aren’t depending on just one income anymore.

There are SO many reasons to start building online. I’m learning how it opens doors and lessens stress levels for so many families.

You might not be Canadian - and that’s okay 🤭 - but I am!

Tonight we celebrated my momma! Big long table full of family. Kids and grandkids that still want to show up.

And as I look at this picture, I realize I have big dreams.

Retired parents
Time to sit and visit

I thought I had it all figured out!

We were paying our bills, building a good life for our boys, and making things work.

But YEARS were going by. Like 15 YEARS! And we still weren’t getting ahead. Family trips to create memories just weren’t possible. Household appliances breaking down felt like heavy burdens.

This just seemed to be the road I had no choice but to travel. There seemed to be no off ramp.

Until there was!

I would never have explored the online world before. I would never have thought someone with no experience could ever figure it out.

But I took a chance and and committed to learning new skills with the promise of everything being at my fingertips.

Now I’m teaching other women just like me how to find the off ramp in their busy stressful lives. I’m helping them understand how to build financial freedom. Not quickly. And not without work. But something that is built for beginners and builds for a lifetime.

Driving to Costco made me realize something!

I can work on my business in so many different ways throughout the day.

I was chatting with a business partner on the way and it was a wonderful use of time!

We all have little moments in the day and that’s all that’s needed.

We were chatting about how we can reach all the moms just like us - raising children, working full time, and wanting to find a way to have breathing room financially.
