For me it is Sports - I’ve always ensured they are in one sport or the other.

Sports keeps them active and productive with their time. I blessed to have active boys ❤️

It doesn’t come cheap but it is well worth it… he scored his first touchdown in this game 🥳🎉

If someone asked me WHY I believe a business in the online space is one of the best ways to create additional household income today, I could give them a pretty long list. 😂🙌

But for me, it comes down to a few BIG things.

The relatively low cost to get started compared to most traditional businesses.

The FREEDOM to build it around your existing life instead of rearranging your entire life around a business.

The TRAINING, mentorship and community that can help you learn skills you may have never had before.

The opportunity to earn by helping people with products you genuinely believe in.

And something I think gets overlooked…

The RELATIONSHIPS. ❤️

Some of the friendships and relationships I’m building mean every bit as much to me as the business itself.

The internet completely removed geography from the equation. 🌎

Your customers, business partners, mentors and friends aren’t limited to the people who happen to live in your hometown.

And THAT is pretty incredible.

Of course, a digital business isn’t a magic money making machine. 😂

It still takes WORK.

It takes consistency.
It takes patience.
It takes learning new skills.
And there are absolutely NO guarantees of income.

But the opportunity to LEARN, SERVE, CONNECT and build something of your OWN without the enormous overhead of many traditional businesses?

We take due dates seriously, but the things we say we want for ourselves can wait forever because nobody charges us a late fee.

That business idea? Later.
Learning something new? When life settles down. Building something of our own? Maybe next year.

Meanwhile, another year passes, and “one day” still hasn’t made it onto the calendar. I’m grateful for what my salary provides, but I also want to give my future more than whatever is left of my time and energy.
