To the average person this is simply “a bridge”. However, heights and “fear of the unknown” isn’t something I respond very well to.

I made myself cross this suspension bridge a bit scared and of course and a family of 5 children were trailing behind me jumping up and down shaking it in all directions. If I were a kid, I would have totally been totally jumping on it too. 😊

This bridge is a great example of what is sometimes required of us in life. We never really know what is on the other side until we are brave enough to cross it.

I’m happy to tell you that I was able to cross the bridge. This is just another classic example of how I need to remind myself that “my faith needs to be bigger than my fear”. I know what fears I need to “let go of” because they don’t serve me well.

It really is true that “fear is a liar”, and I am going to keep crossing those bridges and braving the heights.

It is true that, “consistency is quiet courage practiced daily, and “fear fades when routine shows up”. So that’s my goal to work on being more consistent and to build healthy habits.

For now, I choose to continue to cross unknown bridges a bit scared and do it hope in my heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been a bit quiet lately, but behind the scenes I’ve been doing a lot of thinking.

About my health, my energy, my future… and honestly, the kind of life I want to create moving forward.

Not just getting through the day—but actually feeling better, more stable, and more like myself again.

I’ve started paying attention to things I never really thought twice about before… like daily habits, stress, and even something as simple as the water I drink.

I don’t have everything figured out—but I’m starting to make small changes and learn along the way.

If you’re in a season of trying to feel better, reset, or just figure things out one step at a time… you’re not alone 🤍

Nothing calms me more on a Sunday afternoon than putting on a homemade pot of sauce. There is nothing like the smell of garlic sizzling to calm the nervous system. Sunday sauce was something my grandmother, my mom, my aunts, and my sister always had simmering on the stove. As I partake and practice carrying on this tradition, I realize how truly blessed I am to have such a lineage of strong, loveable, and capable women who have shown their love in well “meatballs” really….haha

Whatever is happening in life, making my Nonni’s sauce is what calms my body and mind. It definitely soothes the soul on this blizzardy Sunday afternoon. As a matter of fact, lately I’ve been paying more attention to exactly “what comfort means to me?”Why I seek it? When and how I use it? It’s an interesting coping mechanism we have hardwired within ourselves.

With this in mind, I strive to challenge myself when I feel the need to cling to the “familiar” because it’s predictable and feels somewhat safe. The only problem is that sometimes playing it safe can stunt growth.

As I undergo new learning, I am practicing making space for new opportunities for growth. Leaning into a bit of discomfort and stretching myself to take new chances to grow can feel a bit scary and uncomfortable at times. I have to admit that leaning into the unknown is not something I’ve exactly embraced or made room for enough in my lifetime.

I pray for daily discernment of knowing when it is healthy to reach for comfort and when it is time to work on new learning and partake in new opportunities. I have found something worthwhile to invest some time and energy into, Let the learning begin…..❤️💕

After all, if “nothing changes, nothing changes”…..
