Hello friends and followers! I hope your holidays went smooth! And we all kinda got to the feeling of a new start again.
Looks like we still don’t get back to “normal” ( who knows what is the NORMAL anymore??), that’s why most of us feeling that “hangover” from cooking, cleaning and cooking again. And sometimes it may make us super tired to take care of the surrounding. Here is a few tips on how to start feeling better about your home, even after messy holidays:
-set a timer to a short period (10-20mins)
-make sure you only work within this timeframe at a time.
-get rid of recyclable paper( gift wrapping, bottles, boxes etc) -all of them! Make sure you have no leftovers anywhere, even in your garbage.
-if you were lucky to have kids and a lot of new toys 🙈 (I feel your pain!) -go over the older toys really quickly, ask your child if they want to donate them to smaller kids, explaining the rule “one in-one out”.
-get rid of all almost expired, old food from your fridge! I am pretty sure all of us have those “rusty” pieces here and there 😁
-don’t feel bad, if you are already tired of Christmas decor, if you have time-you can slowly get rid of it 😅
Holidays are always stressful for most of us, by doing a little decluttering we can start to feel our home again! 🏠
