No alertness = no neuroplasticity.

To be alert during the day, have a good sleep.

Huberman started his podcast talking about sleep for a whole month. Check out his first episodes.

My key take-aways:
Keep the same time for going to bed and waking up, no matter Monday or Saturday ;)
Practice Digital sunset 1 hour before bed by switching off all devices (no blue light, no bright light for melatonin)
First thing you wake up go outside and expose your eyes to natural daylight for at least 5 minutes ( I take a bottle of warm water and go on the balcony).

What are you listening to (podcast) that inspires you?

I enjoy learning Andrew D. Huberman podcast (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2D2CMWXMOVWx7giW1n3LIg)
an American neuroscientist and tenured professor in the Department of Neurobiology at the Stanford University School of Medicine.

This month I will share key insights from his podcast episode regarding neuroplasticity.

Let’s make it clear, if you are older than 25, you have to work hard to change your brain, to learn, to develop.

Two things you must do to kick-start neuroplasticity in your brain:

1+ train yourself for uninterrupted deep focus work for 90 min period. You gotta move your body after deep work (e.g. one burpy) and then come back to work.

1+ non-sleep deep rest protocol - organise your day to find 30-90 min afternoon for a meditation, yoga nidra, siesta, whatever you want, to recharge.
