Itโs been a while since Iโve done a proper introduction, and weโve welcomed a lot of new followers to our page since then, so I thought this was a good time to touch base on who we are and the foundation behind Shelburne County Towing.
First and foremost, ๐๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐๐น๐ ๐น๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐น๐ ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ.
Shelburne County Towing is owned by Billy and me โ Kathleen (Hustins) and Billy Stewart โ both born and raised right here in Shelburne. Our main operator is our son Josh, and our two newest drivers are our sons Jacob and Austin, who are following in the footsteps of their big brother and their father.
When we say family owned and operated, ๐ธ๐ฆ ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฏ ๐ช๐ต ๐ฒ๐ถ๐ช๐ต๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ช๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐บ. โค๏ธ
Being local is also about more than where our trucks are parked. ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐บ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฒ๐น๐ฏ๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ ๐ง๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ถ๐ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฒ๐น๐ฏ๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ โ through local wages, other local businesses, sponsorships, community events and the many different ways we try to give back throughout the year.

Weโre proud to participate in the Trick-or-Treat Trail at Islands Park every fall, we excitedly host our annual Birthday Bash as a completely FREE family and community event, and youโll see our family supporting and attending plenty of other events throughout the county.
Not because we need to be seen there, but because ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐ผ.
We currently have ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฐ๐ธ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฒ๐น๐ฏ๐๐ฟ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐, and one of our biggest priorities is response time. Whether itโs an accident, recovery or someone simply stranded on the side of the road, our goal is to get there as quickly as we reasonably can.

Weโd rather lose a call than leave someone sitting unnecessarily on the side of the road. At the end of the day, making sure youโre taken care of matters more.
When weโre called to an accident or recovery, our goal is to arrive quickly, safely recover and secure the vehicle or vehicles involved, clear the roadway and make the area safe again. Accident scenes attract attention and distracted drivers, so getting them cleared efficiently isnโt about racing to get a tow โ ๐ถ๐โ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐.
What happens after an accident matters too.

Our services include regular towing, accident towing and recovery, lockouts, battery boosts, tire changes and vehicle transportation, as well as moving shipping containers, sheds and other items that can be safely secured and transported on our decks.
But one of the things weโre most proud of has nothing to do with making money.
