🎒 Little feet are back on our roads! 🚌
September brings a change of pace throughout Shelburne County. School buses are making their rounds again, kids are waiting at the end of driveways, and students are walking along roads that may have been a whole lot quieter just a few weeks ago.
In a small community, the kids we pass on our way to work, school or the grocery store are somebody’s whole world. 💛
So give yourself those extra few minutes. Slow down when you see a bus ahead. Keep an eye on driveways, intersections and roadsides. And most importantly, when a school bus has its red lights flashing, STOP — never pass it. Those lights mean children may be getting on or off the bus and could be crossing the road.
An excited kid with a backpack might not always be watching as carefully as you are. A few seconds of patience behind the wheel is a pretty small price to pay to make sure everyone gets where they’re going safely.
From all of us at Shelburne County Towing, here’s to a safe, happy and exciting school year for our local kids. 🎒🚌
Safe kids. Stronger communities. đź’›
