Some people surprise you.

And some people… you just KNOW. ❤️

From my very first conversation with Naveela, I remember thinking, “She’s going to do something with this.”

Originally from Pakistan, Naveela’s journey to Canada came with years of patience and sacrifice. While her husband was here working to build a foundation for their family, she was back home raising their three children until they could finally reunite and start their new chapter together in Canada. ❤️

Maybe that’s why when she stepped into this business last year, I saw something in her right away.

Determination.

She was starting something completely new, but she showed up, learned, stayed consistent and gave it her 100%—even when the journey wasn’t easy.

And that feeling I had during our first conversation?

She proved me right. ❤️

Today, I’m SO proud to celebrate Naveela becoming a COACH! 🎉👏

Not just a new title, but another chapter for a woman who has already shown that when she decides to do something, she shows up for it.

Congratulations, Coach Naveela! ❤️
So proud of you—and this is only the beginning. 🎉

Today’s not a special day… and that’s exactly what makes this moment so special. ❤️

Just a random Thursday.
No plans. No occasion. That’s it.

I used to think freedom would feel BIG.

Turns out, sometimes it looks like…

“Come home for lunch.” ❤️

That’s literally what I told my husband this morning.

The kids were home, my husband came home on his lunch break, and suddenly the four of us were sitting around the same table in the middle of a regular weekday.

One of the things I value most about building my business from home is that my day has room for life in it.

Usually, family time happens after work.
Dinner. Weekends. Holidays. Planned days off.

But sometimes now, it happens in the middle of a random Thursday. ❤️

And while we were sitting there, I thought…

THIS is one of those little things I never would have put on a vision board. 😂

Because maybe the best parts of changing your life aren’t always the things people can see.

When I started this business, I was thinking about what I could build.

I didn’t fully understand how much I would value the flexibility that came WITH building it.

That’s one thing building something of my own has taught me:

Sometimes the return isn’t just what your business pays you.
It’s what your life gives back to you. ❤️

And today, it gave me a random Thursday lunch with my family.

Nothing extraordinary.

Just one of those ordinary moments I’m incredibly grateful I had the freedom to say YES to. ❤️

Most of the time, we meet in little boxes on a screen. 😂

Someone is joining from home.
Someone is between family responsibilities.
Someone has just finished work.
And somehow, week after week, we keep showing up.

But this day was different. ❤️

We were actually in the SAME room!

So I thought… why not introduce you to some of the women I normally see through my laptop? 😊

A nurse. A dentist. A mom building around her little one. A grandmother. Women from different places, professions and stages of life.

Some shared what they do.
Some shared where they’re from.
And some shared what brought them into this business.

Nothing rehearsed. Nothing fancy. Just us. ❤️

And that’s what I love about this video.

You finally get to meet some of the PEOPLE behind what we’re building. 💻✨

Five years ago, I was looking for something I could build around my life — not something my whole life had to revolve around.

At that time, I didn’t know what that would look like.

I just knew I wanted more flexibility.
More control over my time.
And something of my own that I could grow.

Fast forward to today…

I’m standing outside my home with a lightsaber in my hand 😂 when a notification comes through — someone has decided to start their trial period and explore the same business I once took a chance on.

And I had one of those little full-circle moments. ❤️

Because THIS is what I was looking for back then.

Not sitting behind a desk all day.
Not putting life on hold.
Just building something alongside the very normal, sometimes completely random 😂 moments of life.

Apparently, the force was with me today. ✨

I think there comes a point in your 30s or 40s when you start thinking…

I want something that’s mine too. ❤️

And it doesn’t mean you’re not grateful.

I LOVE being a mom.
I love my husband.
I love the life and family we’ve built together.

But as women, we spend so many years being everything for everyone else.

Building a career.
Driving the kids everywhere.
Managing the home and schedules.
Taking care of a hundred little things nobody even notices. 😂

And somewhere between all of that, it’s easy to put yourself on the back burner.

One thing I never expected when I started my online business in my 30s was how good it would feel to have something of my own.

Something I was excited about.
Something that challenged me.
Something I could learn and grow with.
Something that could create an additional income.
And something that reminded me…

Hey, I’m capable of so much more than I thought. 🔥

You can be incredibly grateful for the life you’ve built AND still want something for yourself.

Sometimes it’s not about wanting more.

It’s about realizing there’s still another side of YOU waiting to come out.

And maybe what you’re looking for isn’t only another income stream.

Maybe you’re ready to rediscover that part of yourself again. 🤍

Hi, if you’re new here, I’m Shikha. 👋

I’m a mom of two boys in Canada and an online business mentor. A few years ago, I was looking for something flexible that I could build around my family and my life—not the other way around.

What started as wanting another option became a journey that challenged me, helped me grow, and gave me something I could truly call mine.

Today, I help other women who are looking for that same kind of flexibility learn how they can build something of their own online.

Because being there for your family and building something for YOU don’t have to be two separate dreams. 🤍

Meet Harpreet. 🤍

Originally from India and now living in the UK, Harpreet’s reason for starting this journey was very close to her heart — her daughter and her family.

Like so many moms, she returned to work after maternity leave thinking she would somehow make everything work.

But a few months in, she started realizing how difficult it was to balance work, motherhood, and family life.

At the same time, her husband was working two jobs to support their family.

That’s when Harpreet knew she wanted to explore another option — something that could give her the opportunity to build around her family instead of constantly trying to fit her family around work.

She decided to take a chance and start her online business journey.

And today, she’s sharing her story in her own words. ❤️

Sometimes we don’t start because the timing is perfect.

We start because something in our life makes us realize… we need a different way.

Watch Harpreet’s story — you might see a little bit of your own journey in hers. 🤍

I left India looking for a better life. 🇮🇳

Like so many immigrants, we came to Canada with dreams.

A better future.
Better opportunities.
A good career.
A beautiful life for our family.

And yes, Canada gave us so much to be grateful for. 🇨🇦

But what nobody really tells you is that starting over in a new country comes with its own struggles.

You leave behind the familiar…
your people, your comfort, your roots…
and you start again.

You work hard.
You adjust.
You build from scratch.

And somewhere along the way, I realized that the “better life” I was searching for wasn’t only about having a good job, a home, or financial stability.

For me, it was also about having freedom in my everyday life.

Freedom to be present for my children.
Freedom to have more control over my time.
Freedom to build something of my own.
And freedom to create a life that actually feels like mine.

That realization eventually became one of the reasons I chose a different path and started building my online business.

So today, on India’s Independence Day, I’m thinking about the country where my story began… 🇮🇳❤️

And feeling grateful for the country where I got the opportunity to write another chapter of it. 🇨🇦

Maybe freedom means something a little different to each of us.

For me, it means having the courage to choose the life I truly want to live. 🤍

Happy Independence Day, India. 🇮🇳

It was interesting hearing everyone answer one simple question:

“Why did you start?”

The answers weren’t the same.

Plan B.
Flexibility.
More choices.
Something of our own.
A different direction for the future.

And it got me thinking…

Most of us start something because we want a change.

But the part we don’t talk about enough is what happens after that excitement of starting wears off.

That’s when you have to learn.
Adjust.
Figure things out.
Do things you’re not naturally good at yet.
And sometimes keep showing up without knowing exactly when it’s all going to click.

I’ve learned that lesson over the last six years.

Before this, I tried different things too. I would get excited about an idea, give it a shot, and then eventually move on to something else.

This time, I didn’t.

And maybe that was the biggest change.

Not that I suddenly knew everything.
Not that everything worked immediately.

I simply gave myself enough time to actually become better at it.

Watching this little video from our get-together made me smile because everyone had their own reason for beginning.

But whatever gets you started, at some point you need something else to keep you there.

For me, that became consistency. 🤍

Behind every business are real people, real connections, and a whole lot of teamwork. 🤍✨

What started with connecting online turned into moments like these — meeting, laughing, dancing, sharing ideas, and simply enjoying time together. 💃🏻🥰

We may all have our own journeys, personalities, and ways of doing things, but what brings us together is the same — supporting each other, growing together, and celebrating each other along the way. ✨

Because building something is always more meaningful when you don’t have to do it alone. 🤍

Many hands. One vision. One team. ✨

A little pause before the day begins. 🤍

Before he heads off to work, sometimes we just sit here for a few minutes… talk, relax, and enjoy a quiet moment together.

Nothing planned. Nothing fancy. Just normal life. 😊

And honestly, these are the moments that remind me why I value flexibility in my own day so much.

Working from home has made me appreciate these little pockets of time even more—the freedom to slow down, be present, and enjoy the simple moments in an otherwise busy day.

Not every beautiful moment needs to be a big one.
Sometimes it’s just a quiet morning on the couch with your person. 🤍
