I didn’t start looking into this because I had everything figured out.

I started because I wanted something different.

Something I could build around my life instead of constantly trying to fit my life around work.

I wanted to learn something new.
And I wanted to see what was possible if I gave myself a chance. 🤍

I’m still learning. I’m still growing. But I’m glad I started.

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t building something new…

It’s believing that you’re capable of building it. ✨

Lately I’ve realized that having a good life isn’t about doing everything at once.

It’s about finding a routine that works for you, learning along the way, spending time with the people you care about, and making small improvements when you can.

If someone looked at my phone screen for 5 minutes, they would probably be a little puzzled. 😂

A few messages.
A few notes.
A few tasks checked off.

Nothing dramatic.

Yet those small things have slowly helped me build a routine I genuinely enjoy.

It’s funny because many people think meaningful changes happen all at once.

For me, it was the opposite.

Small steps.
Daily habits.
Consistent effort.

Sometimes the best parts of your journey don’t look remarkable to anyone else… until one day they do.

I almost said “no.”

No because I wasn’t sure.

No because it felt unfamiliar.

No because I thought, “People like me don’t do things like that.”

Looking back, that tiny decision to not say “no” immediately ended up teaching me some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned.

It’s crazy how life changes from one small choice.

So here’s my question:

What’s one thing you almost didn’t do, but now you’re glad you did?

ਮੈਂ ਲਗਭਗ “ਨਹੀਂ” ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਹਾ।

ਉਸ ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਬਕ ਸਿਖਾਏ।

ਸਵਾਲ: ਉਹ ਕਿਹੜੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲਗਭਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਕੀਤੀ?

I started noticing something weird…

People don’t actually ask “what do you do?” anymore.

They ask:
“How are you always home?”
or
“You’re always free, how?”

I used to not know how to answer that.

Now I just smile and say:
“I changed how I work.”

And that usually starts a long conversation.

Funny how one small shift can make your whole lifestyle look different from the outside.

ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਅਜੀਬ ਜਿਹਾ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ…

ਲੋਕ ਹੁਣ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ?” ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ।

ਉਹ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਹਨ:
“ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਘਰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ?”
ਜਾਂ
“ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਫ੍ਰੀ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ?”

ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ।

ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮੁਸਕਰਾ ਕੇ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ:
“ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਬਦਲ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।”

The thing I almost ignored became one of my favorite parts of the day.

Funny how that happens, isn’t it?

We spend so much time chasing the big moments that we sometimes overlook the small ones sitting right in front of us. But today, the thing I nearly skipped, dismissed, or rushed past ended up bringing the most joy, the most perspective, and the biggest smile.

A good reminder that not everything valuable announces itself loudly. Sometimes the best parts of our day arrive quietly and unexpectedly.
