Kyle, Stacey and Twinkle are on a very special international adventure ... and we have a lot to share!

A few days ago our team had the privilege of attending the National Association Of Care Catering (NACC) award ceremony for their Care Chef of the Year Awards. We were also fortunate to be invited behind the scenes at Loughborough College Group to watch the competition unfold firsthand.

A huge thank you to the teams at NACC and Events 365 for their incredible hospitality and for providing this unique opportunity to learn from some of the best culinary professionals in the sector.

Congratulations to all of the chefs who participated. The skill, creativity, and passion on display were truly impressive and a powerful reminder of what is possible in Seniors' Care dining!

In collaboration with AdvantAge Ontario , Seasons Care has developed the "Nutrition & Food Service Excellence Summit: From Compliance, Collaboration and Innovation" one-day workshop, bringing together sector expertise and practical perspectives to create a relevant and engaging day for long-term care professionals on November 3rd, 2026 in Vaughan.

Hear directly from the Ministry of Long-Term Care, connect with peers from across the sector, and explore practical ideas, success stories, and innovative approaches to improving Resident outcomes.

We think it's shaping up to be a fantastic day and hope to see you there!

𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

Since founding Seasons Care in 1996, Carol Donovan has helped shape not only this organization, but also the broader conversation around seniors' nutrition and food service in Canada. Through her leadership and advocacy, she championed a people-first and “Food First” approach to care, one grounded not simply in standards and clinical outcomes, but in dignity, choice, quality of life, and the belief that Residents’ preferences must always come first.

Today, we announce that Carol is formally stepping back from the role of President, and that Kyle Donovan has officially assumed leadership as President of both Seasons Care Dietitian Network and Seasons Care Food Service Consultants. While the title is new to Kyle, the leadership transition itself is not. For more than a decade, Kyle has led the organization’s day-to-day operations, strategic growth, partnerships, and continued evolution across the sector.

Under Kyle’s leadership, Seasons Care has modernized and expanded its services while remaining firmly grounded in the culture, responsiveness, and values that have long defined the organization. His leadership reflects a continued commitment to innovation, operational excellence, education, consulting, and meaningful partnerships within the seniors care sector.

We look forward to serving our partners, Residents, and communities with the same passion, purpose, and commitment that have defined Seasons Care for 30 years.
